The Kraken is here

stupid fuck.....how many times do I have to explain it to you......the Wisconsin SC declared the use of drop boxes was unconstitutional.....now shut the fuck up and never ask again....

Your crass, dumbass reply is an example of the mistakes I referred to when non lawyers play at the law. The Wisconsin case wasn't even brought until months after certification of the election, and it was NOT decided on constitutional grounds. The court found only that drop boxes are not specifically allowed under the state's election statute and for that reason would not be permitted in future elections under the statute as written.

Ah, yes - the WI Supreme Court. The arbiter of all of our national elections.

given that the constitution gives the authority for conducting national elections to the various state legisatures, it is hardly surprising that a state supreme court might correct the violations of the constitution that are observed in an election....you people are quite cavelier about unconstitutional elections, I must say.....why is it you don't give a fuck?.....

dense bitch......they were not specifically allowed under the state's election statute AS REQUIRED BY THE US CONSTITUTION......thanks for this opportunity to beat a glimmer of truth through your thick, lib'rul skull......and if they violated the constitution in 2022 they obviously violated the constitution in 2020......

Why don't you care about Republicans sending fake electors to Washington? Why don't you care about a sitting President pressuring an election official to "find votes?" Since you're so big on the Constitution - why don't you care about Trump and many on his staff pressuring a sitting VP to VIOLATE the Constitution and not do his Constitutional duty?

Sounds like a pretty big double-standard to me. But regardless - the 2020 election was fine, and the guy who got the most electoral votes won. As it should be.

Why don't you care about Republicans sending fake electors to Washington?

because it was a protest and protected by the constitution......there wasn't a single person who wasn't aware of that in the entire country......

why don't you care about Trump and many on his staff pressuring a sitting VP to VIOLATE the Constitution and not do his Constitutional duty?
because the election WAS unconstitutional.......they were right to ask him to hold off......

Your "ruling", not the court's. The Wisconsin judges were aware without having to look that the U.S. Constitution does not instruct states how to conduct their elections. The case was decided solely on the absence of specified authority for drop boxes in the state's election statute(s).

Stop trying to imitate a lawyer, you embarrass yourself. Stick to name calling.

He’s been told that uncountable times. His ignorance is no longer and excuse. Now, it’s his chronic lie.

^Doesn’t know the difference between promulgated rules and constitutional requirements.

No wonder his law school folded.

dude, you keep restating the truth without realizing what it means......yes, there was an absence of specified authority......the authority specified by the US constitution.....that of the state legislature......it amazes me that you subconciously understand the decision and agree with it, yet deny its basis.......get a fucking brain and USE it......

It was a simple prospective ruling based on Wisconsin statutory law, having zero bearing on the 2020 election.

You're hopelessly scrambling, not amazed, but trying to cure with bad logic an error made on case law. The Constitution's hands off approach to the manner of state election laws does not turn a state court decision terminating a state election procedure into a prior breach of The Constitution.

Either a blank page or trying nuttily to save face with people who side with him politically.

Votes in drop boxes are counted the exact same way that in-person votes are. They are sent to the precinct printed on the absentee vote. Once there, the voter's name is checked in the precinct voter registration book, then the signature is checked. If that is found to be valid, then the vote is checked and counted.
That stops overvotes. Only the people in the log books votes are counted. Once the vote is counted, the voter is marked "as voted".
I bet even PP can see how that stops overvotes. If there was a huge number of votes in the drop box, they cannot be counted. The authorities would be called.
