New York judge threatens to jail Trump for ‘blatantly’ violating gag order

A New York judge threatened to imprison Donald Trump for “blatantly” violating a gag order on Friday after the former president failed to remove a social media post mocking the judge’s clerk.

As proceedings in the civil court began on Friday, the New York judge Arthur Engoron asked Trump’s lawyers why “this blatant violation of the gag order would not result in serious sanctions, including financial sanctions and/or possibly imprisoning him”.

Just like I can say Pedo Don raped little girls on Pedo Island? That he molested them in their dressing rooms, cheated on every wife he ever had and molested his own daughter?

it will just take one Judge to break the seal, just as when the first Judge finally applied a gag order, then another followed.

While i still do not think Trump will ever serve a day in a real Prison, due to the demands his Secret Service would put on any prison, to ensure his safety, ...I do not see any problem with a Judge making Trump sit in a holding cell for the weekend where Trump gets that cell all to himself and his SS.

I think the Judge will try fines first though. But I would love to see a Judge revoke his bail for a few days as punishment and remand him to a holding cell for a weekend.
 
What i love about this topic is how it continually exposes the most stupid amongst us (aka, the right and Trump Derps), who demonstrate they have zero understanding of the American Constitution and rights like Free speech.


To live in America and not know that anyone charged with a crime has certain rights limited as a function of granting them bail, is just basement dweller dumb.

We have freedom of movement and association, and yet a Judge can demand you turn in your passport, you not cross State lines and you not speak to other defendants or witnesses.

We have freedom of speech and yet a Judge can limit who you speak to, and some of the things you might say that could impact the court or your trial.


The dumbest amongst will continue to deny the above, and its an honest denial. They are just that dumb. And even as they read this, they cannot comprehend it, as again, they are just that dumb. That will lead them to continue to proclaim the most stupid things, giving my much enjoyment.
