Most Gazans didn't support Hamas attacking

these build times can be brought down.

the real problem environmentalists have is with humans.

they want to strangle the economy with high costs, and then hope people starve.

Coming up with the "right" answer isn't enough, Asshat.
If you're going to come up with these astounding conclusions,
you should show your work.
That would be more convincing, I believe.

However, if you're somewhat like I,
and just want to vent without unnecessary conversation,
that's a different story.
You're doing fine.

More to the point, the Gazans could be working to improve their living conditions and lives rather than spending energy and wealth on waging perpetual--and ineffectual--war on Israel...
How exactly do you expect them to do that?

Despite pleas from the United Nations and human rights groups, Israel has maintained a land, air and sea blockade on Gaza since 2007 that has had a devastating effect on Palestinian civilians. Israel says the blockade, which gives it control of Gaza's borders and is also enforced by Egypt, is necessary to protect Israeli citizens from Hamas.

Human Rights Watch likened the conditions in Gaza to “an open air prison,” referring to the restriction of movement Israel enforces on Palestinians there. Israel prohibits Palestinians from entering or leaving the area “except in extremely rare cases, which include urgent, life-threatening medical conditions and a very short list of merchants,” according to B’Tselem, an Israeli human rights group.

By limiting imports and nearly all exports, Israel’s 16-year blockade has driven Gaza's economy to near-collapse, with unemployment rates above 40%, according to the World Bank. More than 65% of the population live under the poverty line, according to the U.N., with 63% of people in Gaza deemed “food insecure” by the World Food Program.

“The Gaza closure blocks talented, professional people, with much to give their society, from pursuing opportunities that people elsewhere take for granted,” Human Rights Watch said in a 2021 report. “Barring Palestinians in Gaza from moving freely within their homeland stunts lives and underscores the cruel reality of apartheid and persecution for millions of Palestinians.”

Ah, so now you understand that I was correct. It *does* take years to build and bring a nuclear power plant on line.

The rest of your post is just so much paranoid fantasy and therefore needs no response other than noting its character.

Sure it’s a prison. And a prison sentence without a conviction or due process.

I am a believer in the precision of language, and on second thought maybe prison camp doesn't seem quite right.

I had a great uncle sentenced to the Ukhtpechlag forced labor camp, and Gulag prison labor camps were quite different than Gaza.

I don't know what the right word for Gaza is because it's so unique. It is definitely a system that strips people of their dignity, humanity, and a substantial amount of their freedom.

The Palestinians are getting what they voted for to lead them...Hamas.

They will live and die with this horrible decision.

If most Germans didn't support the Nazis in 1943 should that have kept us from bombing the shit out of it... And killing every Nazi we could?

A lot of Germans were probably fighting to defend Germany from Soviets tanks and British bombers, not to defend the honor of Adolph Hitler.

I am siding with the Gaza civilians who have been living in an outdoor prison, many for their entire lives, under occupied rule by an oppressive apartheid government, Israel.

Tel Aviv is 42 miles from Gaza and on the same cost as Gaza. Tel Aviv has a population density of 22,000 per sq miles. Gaza has a population density of 15,000 per sq mile. Tel Aviv has about 4.4 million people. Gaza has about 2.1 million people. Tel Aviv is considered a vacation destination and Gaza is an "open air prison". If Gaza is an"open air prison" is a prison of their own making. They could have had a beautiful place to live but they preferred to make war instead.
