If I remember correctly Hamas was polling in the 70+% region, which explains why there have been no fresh elections since 2006.

Wow.

I'll say it again: I support Israel and their determination to bring Hamas to justice for what is really an unthinkable attack on their citizens. But to in turn dehumanize the civilians of Gaza so we don't have to feel bad about what's happening there or something - that just continues the cycle. Hate begets hate.
