Israel will not fail because some anti-Semitic nutter on JPP supports the gutter Palestinians, controlled by Hamas which is on the State Department list of terrorist groups. Hamas is funded by Iran, a state sponsor of terrorism.
 
I expect that the retribution for the slaughter of Israeli men, women and children will be swift and overwhelming.

Israeli women are being raped, drug though the streets and murdered.

Taking hostages is an act of war and Israel has responded by declaring their own state of war with these terrorists.

Palestinians are stateless. There is no state of Palistine. Other muslum countries in the area don't want them either. Israel should seize Gaza immediately and push every Palistinian into the med and then make it apparant they will invade and destroy evey last one of them in the west bank. If your neighboring country rains rockets down on you, you kick their ass.

Thought experiment:

If Israel didn't exist, would there still be a problem with warfare and terrorism in the Middle East and would a state of Palestine be part of that problem? The obvious answer is a resounding , YES! That is obvious to anyone except an apologist for Palestine. Syria, Lebanon, Egypt, Iraq, Iran, Libya, Yemen, are all messed up, social and economic disasters from years of tribal and religious conflict, not to mention social repression under various levels of dictatorship. Palestine would be no different.

If Palestine didn't exist, and Israel did would there still be problems with Palestine? No. Israel would still have problems and their neighbors, but this time because of Israel's neighbors. As each has gotten beaten down in repeated wars, they've decided to leave Israel alone. Jordan was the first to see that. Lebanon fell apart in an internal religious and ethnic civil war from which it has never recovered. Egypt and Israel made their peace. Syria was the sole holdout, and now, like Lebanon next door has fallen into an internal religious and ethnic civil war. So by today's standard, there'd be a lot more peace in the Middle East with Palestine gone and Israel there than there would be if Palestine existed and Israel didn't.

The simplistic idea that there's some "good guy" and "bad guy" in this laughably absurd. This war started solely because Hamas and the Palestinians fired thousands of rockets into Israel and then invaded, taking hostages and killing Jews. Israel is going to retaliate with a bully beatdown. I don't see Israel--at least so far--invading the East Bank Palestinian territories, just Gaza.

If the Palestinian groups in the East Bank area stay out of this it is likely Israel will only demolish and stomp on Gaza. The result in a couple of weeks will be thousands of Palestinians dead, hundreds of buildings, possibly more demolished, Gaza's frail economy completely wrecked, and Hamas begging the world to step in and save them from the beatdown they're getting.

Geebus. You want to poison their wells? What's next, salting the earth? Did we just go back to the stone age? Israel isn't going to poison the aquifers. They also won't be dragging naked "Palestinians" (Palestine was a territory name made up by the Romans, so every Jew in Israel is as "Palestinian" as anyone else claiming that "tribe" in the region) through the streets.

Desalination plants need power so, no need to destroy them, they aren't working at the moment if they've cut off power.
