Why China and Russia can not match USS Gerald R. Ford

.
The Gerald R. Ford is the most expensive and largest carrier ever constructed. This is a ship capable of boasting high-power lasers and accommodates more stealth fighters than most countries.

It is another one that had real teething problems, but they seem to be worked out. It is innovation, and investment like this that has kept more than one generation ahead of the Chinese. The Russians are going in reverse at moment. The Invasion of Ukraine will take them 3 to 10 years to rebuild from, but beyond that they have done nearly nothing in decades.

Ford was a great man in his own quiet way, and had a real history with aircraft carriers. It is fitting such an important ship is named after him.

The people I listen to say generally that America's Generals still think they are fighting WW2, that their brains have not updated, and that when we try to use aircraft carriers against a peer we will learn very quickly that this is outdated tech just as traumatically as we learned that battleships were over.

They are going to be nearly useless, and they wont survive long.

That's going to be a lot of dead people.

I have seen multiple reliable reports that Milley was just in the last few weeks at the WH claiming to speak for a Pentagon consensus "Dont get into a war with Russia and/or China...we would lose".

The Better People are the truth tellers, most people I think somewhere it that mush they call a brain still know this, our ancestors certainly did.

But my big problem this life has been over optimism.

Talking to liars is completely useless when trying to learn, as I do....that is how I got to be so wise.

You do whatever the fuck you do, a lot of you I hold in contempt, you barely tried to live life with honor.

You are such a liar.

I would ask if you are embarrassed but I know that you are not.

The last battleship was made during WWII, but even then planners realized it was not cost effective. They were used [a bit] in every major war up until the Persian Gulf War. Reagan used a battleship against Lebanon, with decided mixed success. At least he did not need to risk American pilots, and the guided missiles of the time were still having teething problems. They were both too big to directly challenge, but also too big to risk, so were never in much danger, or used much. In the end, they were retired and made into museums, or scrapped for metal.

They went out with a whimper, not a bang.

You do whatever the fuck you do, a lot of you I hold in contempt, you barely tried to live life with honor.

I can make guessing about how you lived your life, by your anger about how it turned out. But you know nothing of how I lived my life. I have shared a few details, but I could be lying (in fact, you claim I am definitely lying). Maybe go out for a walk, and think about how you can improve your life.

What about that tranny admiral Rachel Levine?

His uniform looks like he is in the Navy, and I thought he was at first. But, he is not.

That mentally ill male is the asst. secretary of health, now. :palm:

In the 2016 sci-fi film Star Trek Beyond, the USS Enterprise is destroyed by a swarm drone attack.

That type of tactic does concern me when it comes to our Carriers.
