Chaos caught on camera as Democrats come face-to-face with furious protesters and migrants

"We see so many stories, heartbreaking stories manifest itself here. What I think, these are folks that will take New York City to a better place," he said as people kept shouting out in the background.

"Every crisis presents great opportunity. There's hope and opportunity in this building," Espaillat continued, noting that "this is a contentious issue," gesturing toward the protesters who broke out in another chant of "close the border!"

The Roosevelt Hotel is an arrival center for all migrants, where they can get food, vaccinations and meet with caseworkers, city officials say.

The delegation at the press conference, in addition to Ocasio-Cortez and Espaillat, were Democrat Reps. Veronica Escobar, Sylvia Garcia and Joaquin Castro of Texas, Nydia Velazquez and Jerrold Nadler of New York, Jesús García, Delia Ramirez and Mike Quigley of Illinois, Jimmy Gomez and Tony Cárdenas of California and Rob Menendez of New Jersey....

So AOC and her toadies showed up at the Roosevelt Hotel in NYC. They tried to have a news conference. New Yorkers basically heckled them off the stage. She and her toadies looked like deer in headlights. It was very funny. I remember when Liberals mocked Abbott for sending migrants to NYC. Abbott is the one laughing now.
 
Too bad the shitbag Repugnants in Congress won't cooperate in creating a guest worker pass system so these people can come here legally, find productive jobs and be gainfully employed for six months then go home for six months before coming back again.

It could be controlled, regulated and generate income tax revenue.

But the shitbag Repugnants would rather have the political immigration issue it creates to whip up and inflame their ignorant, xenophobic asshole voter base with.

They are truly the vile, evil scum of society.

Worse yet, they try to pass themselves off as "Christians".

They perform jobs that are needed to be filled but which there either aren't enough Americans to fill or that Americans just don't want to do.

Agriculture, construction labor, domestic, custodial, sanitation, etc.

Filling these needs not only benefits American business, it also generates income tax revenue and solves or greatly reduces the problem of illegal border crossings, while at the same time providing these people with a means to earn more money for their families than they could ever hope to earn back home.

It never ceases to amaze me how the bunch who claim to be such God fearing Christians, is so eager to turn their backs on human suffering and treat these people like garbage to be ignored and forgotten about.

You dirtbags on the right are the subhuman garbage.

So ungrateful for all that life has given you while being such partisan political assholes, that you scoff at the idea of your country lifting a finger to help them even if it would also benefit us, just because you look down on them as being less human and having less worth than you.

I do know that the Golden Banana on Route 1, just north of the city, used to have completely nude dancers in big bird cages.
That way you could stick the tips in between the cage wires but still not be able to touch the merchandise.

I suppose that some of them may have looked openly bored.

However, the political affiliations of neither the dancers nor the patrons seemed to be discussed as I recall.

It was quite a few decades ago, but I think that I'd have remembered that.
