Ohio police shoot pregnant woman

yes everyone thats drives toward a cop after being told to stop get out...should be shot at

As long as you are consistent with Ashli and Trump's terrorists being shot down, I can't fault you.

Why was there only one round fired if there was such a threat? Most of the time, when one cop fires his weapon, all the rest open up as well. The threat was real. They were being attacked.

At last! Nomad gets it!...partially. He pointed a gun at a cop. That's a direct threat.

But you don't know the rest of the details.

The guy might have dropped the shotgun by the time the cop was getting out of his patrol car.

You're just ASSuming shit like you always do.

Sooooo, someone pointing a gun at you isn't considered to be a situation allowing use of deadly force?

She broke the law forcing her way past a police barricade.

I wholeheartedly support shooting terrorists down in the street, volsrock. I don't support shooting peaceful protestors.

Sure it is!

He had a shotgun....maybe the cop was 50 yards away and behind his car when he ordered him to drop it

And he did drop it
So? If the cop had shot him, would it have been a lawful shooting? Yes, vols, it would have. So why did the cop hesitate?

He was driving at the time!

Harris then pointed his gun at an officer in a patrol vehicle along the 300 block of Merchant Street, who called in for backup, TribLive and WTAE reported.

Looks like he pointed gun at a moving patrol vehicle and that cop called for backup...thats why he wasn't shot at...hard to pul a gun and shoot from a moving car...it’s very uncommon for cops to fire from a moving vehicle...If a cop is trying to split his attention between shooting and driving, they cannot fully concentrate on either.

No evidence he pointed gun at cops on foot when they approached him

Sooooo, someone in control of a vehicle that is running, in gear and purposely attempting to run down an officer isn't considered to be a situation allowing use of deadly force?

If the suspect in your scenario drops the weapon and puts his hands in the air as soon as the officer begins to exit his patrol car, no it isn't.

Pretty simple.

LOL

Your posts speak for themselves, vols.

I'm looking forward to the pedo Nazis and Trump's traitors being shot down in the streets the next time they become violent. Kill all terrorists. :flagsal:

Getting caught. I'm not defending her actions. I'm only saying the police should have de-escalated instead of escalating the situation into a fatal shooting.

Disagreed. The man who pulled the trigger is the cause of her and her baby's death. Of course they will. It's Ohio and she was DWB.

Yes, and they should be held accountable for those mistakes. Again, the Spider-Man rule applies.

Looks like we will never agree. Your stance is the cops should have de-escalated the situation.
I say she should have complied with orders. She knew she was going to jail and there was no real chance of escape. So I maintain her actions resulted in getting shot.
