Instead, they are painting themselves into a corner. Every time they come up with some bullshit charge, Trump's ratings rise. Did you notice how many Republicans at the debate mentioned that they could not win a general election with Trump as the nominee?

If someone is not a political lefty, it doesn't matter whether he/she/it hates the country or not;

He / she / it is a serious detriment and existential threat to this nation nonetheless.

This episode is going to propell Trump into the Presidency. Its a Harry Reid moment. Remember when he change Senate rules on the votes needed to confirm a Federal Judge, that came back to bite Democrats in the ass. Remember the Biden Rule not to confirm SC justices in an election year? That rule bit the Dems in the ass too. This move to weaponize the DOJ is so obvious and so harmful for the country no matter which party that does it that even moderate Democrats and independents will turn against the radical Democrats.
