Sadly, school funding has been cut across the board by both parties, but I think it's mainly the Republicans who are doing it. They seem to want everyone attending public schools to be poorly educated while their own children attend well-funded private schools. What percentage of school funding is Federal?
How can someone pick their own sex? I thought it was teaching tolerance for those of different genders.

That's what I'm seeing too, but wanted to give RB 60, Sailor/Theywillneverlearn a chance to speak on it. Neither of them has ever given a reason on why they dogpile guno.
IMO, it's because Sailor is clearly suffering from elderly cognitive issues and probably self-medicating with alcohol. He's at least 66 years old, the youngest a "Vietnam-era vet" can be.
Arbie's issues seem to be self-esteem related, but I fail to see why since he's an accomplished machinist and sports marksman.

Realistically, "Republicans with actual cause" don't carry enough votes to win anything.
It's the working class / no degree whites, voting 100% against their own economic best interests, that give Republicans their voting power;
and they think education is for elitist snobs.
I personally don't like local property tax funding for public schools, nor locally elected school committees either, for that matter.
I wish public schools were nationally funded and guided by legitimate PhDs in education working at the Department of Education.

Unfortunately that rings true. National funding is 8% and I agree it should be more. Specifically, to bump up schools that are underfunded since all funding is local.

except for making the schools better, the teacher-colleges better, and the books better.

The non sequitur is why Arbie is so hateful of certain people. In Sailor/TWNL's case, it seems clear there are some cognitive issues at work, but not so much in Arbie's case. He's sensitive, but functional. Most of his attack posts are displaced aggression AKA Kick-the-Cat Syndrome. The fact he focuses upon a veteran African-American who is Jewish seems especially peculiar.
I've asked both of them how they know guno isn't African-American, Jewish or a veteran and both refuse to answer. That's an answer all by itself.

I don't believe that NeverLearns is Sailor. For one thing, Sailor himself is a mixed-race person and also a veteran. Plus he's always been civil to me. NeverLearns, not so much.
