It's amazing and disturbing how many Republiclowns are fine with Trump breaking the law. I'm glad I no longer am a registered Republican.
Left in 2008 and became an Independent.
I was a Republican for 38 years and left after the 2012 election when the Republicans proved they'd become racist by disregarding their own "Growth & Opportunity Project" results. I've never voted Democrat, don't plan to start and will likely vote Libertarian again in 2024.

BTW, Algore did exactly what Trump did back in 2000. Where Kennedy actually submitted electors in defiance of the Hawaii Governor and legislature, Gore and Trump merely compiled alternate slates of electors.

I would have voted for Gene McCarthy had he been nominated, just as I voted for George McGovern four years later.

I was 12. 1968 was very memorable year for both me personally and the nation; It began with Tet, ended with Americans orbiting the Moon with the assassinations of MLK and RFK in the middle.
