GHGs are experimentally proven to trap heat.

The isotopic signature of recent carbon loading to the atmosphere show the isotope fingerprint of petroleum hydrocarbons.

Volcanic activity or variations in solar radiation in the last 50 years cannot explain the rapid and alarming amount of heating we have seen since the 1990s.

Atmospheric CO2 are at their highest levels in at least a million years. That is mostly due to burning of fossil fuels.

Climate change and global warming do not happen for no reason. It's not magic. The best scientific explanation is GHGs being emitted to the atmosphere by human activities, and secondarily deforestation by humans are reducing natural carbon sinks that would otherwise remove CO2 from the atmosphere exacerbate the problem

NASA and other climate scientists have now found that as much as 10%, possibly more, by their calculations of anthropogenic warming is caused by jet aircraft contrails. These are easily eliminated, but the powers that be aren't even discussing this. Why? Because there's little or nothing for them to gain in terms of power or wealth from fixing that problem.

That should tell you all you need to know about Gorebal Warming.
 
I dont know if this is true or not because I never cared enough to launch an investigation but I have been told that the Germans spent a shit ton of money planting trees, and that almost all of them died because they had several low rain years in a row.

Clouds are not responsible for the alarming rise in global warming we have seen since the 1990s.

You can try walking into a NASA conference hollering that clouds are the culprit for this global warming, but you are going to be laughed out of the room.

It does not logically follow that the fact that the H[SUB]2[/SUB]O molecule acts as a greenhouse gas makes it the primary culprit of the extraordinary rate of warming we have seen since the 1990s.

The problem with water vapor is that is can create a feedback loop and magnify the problem that is being caused by human induced emissions of CO[SUB]2[/SUB] and CH[SUB]4[/SUB].

Since Republicans want to keep loading our atmosphere will fossil fuel emissions, the warming it causes will lead to increased evaporation of water on sea and land, potentially magnifying the problem, and maybe even creating a runaway greenhouse effect

Wrong. I have consistently said that climate change happens. What I have argued against is that anthropogenic--human caused--change is significant or relevant. Here I am discussing the potential causes of anthropogenic climate change, even if those changes are insignificant. What I demonstrated is that CO2 is not the only cause, and potentially isn't the most significant. Since contrails provide a significant portion of anthropogenic change, they should be dealt with first as the fix is easy to manage and quick to do.

If that solves the problem, or significantly reduces it, then we can back off pushing so hard for CO2 solutions. Of course, that set of actions would greatly diminish those in power's hold over the economy and power so they are unlikely to do it.

As for contrails... These only started to occur in the late 1930's when aircraft could first reach altitudes where they are created. Since then, the amount of contrails created daily has increased exponentially. Unlike CO2, contrails create a very significant blanket to trap heat. Most of the northern hemisphere is covered by them daily now.

You just mischaracterized my position. In essence you are lying about it. My position is that contrails are a significant contributor. They don't have to be the primary or biggest to be significant. They are easily eliminated. Elimination would have significant results fairly quickly. Once we see what happens as a result of their elimination, we have a better handle on the significance of other causes.
