More Biden babbling, want to plant a billion trees

It pretty much has been, as just about every president had some kind of initiative to re-forest our country.

President Trump signed an XO to plant a trillion trees. During the first three years of the Trump Administration, the Department of the Interior alone planted more than 58 million trees and was on track to plant an additional 22 million trees by the end of 2020. TRUMP also called for the passage of the REPLANT Act (S. 4357) to help address the Forest Service’s reforestation backlog and continued annual reforestation needs, and also the introduction of the Trillion Trees Act (H.R. 5859), a bipartisan bill to plant one trillion trees globally and encourage the use of wood products for carbon sequestration.

It is the president's duty to look after the US Re-forestation needs. And all of them did a pretty good job doing so. And give Donnie some well deserved credit for doing a good job for at least trying to get er' done.

Biden is just trying to carry that torch through his time in office, and doing a good job, as he has already provided the funding to do so.

Trump was never able to fully fund his Re-forestation efforts because of Republican resistance in Congress, but the Democrats were all on board with Trump's Re-forestation efforts in a very non-partisan way.

I will give Biden credit for that.

Absolutely.

And Trump! And Bush- both of them! And Obama! And Clinton! And Reagan! And Jimmy!

Everyone of them were very good Re-forestation-in-chiefs! They did their jobs.

Thanks!

No president is all bad, they all do some good things here and there.

It's nice to actually find a sane individual like yourself on this forum.

Thanks, but we all have to ACT A LITTLE CRAZY SOME TIMES- OR WE WILL ALL GO NUTS!

Yes, we must all recognize the good that our presidents did, and we need to get past the bad things.

If Trump would just say, Hey, I was mistaken, and I did a lot of things that I am ashamed of now, but I just want to set the record straight, and apologize, and ask for your trust in me again.

I think the Justice Department would just send him home and drop a lot of these charges! But, Trump will never admit he was ever wrong about anything, and would never apologize. So, It is too late for that now, as Trump never learned his lesson, and the world needs to see Donald get what he deserves now. It is like watching a movie where the bad guys win, and justice never gets served. I HATE MOVIES LIKE THAT- HOW ABOUT YOU?

And I think that is why people are so frustrated and disgusted with him. He still thinks there should be a double standard just for him, and that he is above the law, and he thinks that he is entitled to whatever he wants because he was the president and a rich man. Well, it don't work like that for anyone else- and not him either.

The children are watching this play out, and they know damn well that their parents would spank or punish them, if they carried on like Trump does. For them, they need to see what happens to people who act like Donald Trump.

I can remember when Trump was not a total jerk, and that he had some very important things to say.

But that was over a couple of decades ago. He has really surprised me as to what kind of person he turned out to be as an OLD FART!

The more I saw of him, the more I resented him, and just wanted to see him fall on his own sword. And I believe he finally did it! :palm:

I don't recall Trump ever being a nice guy even before politics but I do think he is a fantastic leader.

And give Donnie some well deserved credit for doing a good job for at least trying to get er' done. At one time, Trump was credited for creating over 140,000 jobs for carrying out his order to plant the trees.

Biden is just trying to do his job of Re-forestation-in-chief, and carry that torch through his time in office, and doing a good job, as he has already provided the funding to do so. And he got bi-partisan support to get his Bill signed where the money will come from now.

If Donald Trump could have gotten the funding to complete his projects on Re-forestation, this would have been the largest Contribution to the preservation of trees in America since Theodore Roosevelt. Looks like now Biden will get that honor!

It is a damn shame that TRUMP could not get his Republicans to sign on to it. PITY! Republicans are just Deplorable, and they care nothing about our environment or preservation of our natural resources.

So you support Trump? Hmmm...

the Great Green Wall for the Sahel and The Sahara Initiative,
https://news.globallandscapesforum....ricas-great-green-wall-to-see-quicker-growth/
which seeks to restore 100 million hectares of degraded land and create 10 million green jobs by 2030, has entered a new phase with partners pledging more than USD 14 billion in international finance for the Wall’s 11 involved countries over the next five years. To date, 4 percent of the Wall is estimated to be complete, bumped to 18 percent when taking into account associated improvements outside the direct intervention areas.

He leads people down unto the sewer! He leads people to jail! You follow him, and he will lead you to lying, cheating, and stealing. Just look at all of the careers and lives of people ruined now that followed him. Just look at all the people now in jail because of him.

At least he is a leader.

That response is a huge miss. It is equivalent to Rush saying winter proves there is no global warming. https://www.azcentral.com/story/new...-hottest-summer-record-since-1895/3350290001/

Those dates are all within the last 10 to 30 years when it has been scientifically recognized that we have been feeling the consequences of human emissions of heat-trapping GHGs.

Noticeably, you didn't want to bring up long term trends.

what does that have to do with "I accept your confession".......you suck at arguing and look like a fucking third grader......cope.....

You intentionally posted a graph that excluded the recent alarming and unprecedented rise in atmospheric CO2, and your graph arbitrarily cut off the vertical axis at 300 ppm so that the recent rise in CO2 couldn't be seen even if it was included on the graph.

That is pure deception on your part

I was the first one on the thread to mention Milankovitch cycles and interglacial periods, so I didn't need a scientific illiterate to tell me climate changed in the geologic past.
