Not knowing, sand and sun were never my thing, does the water temperatures affect the number of people flocking to the beach? If the water is warm doesn’t it defeat the purpose of going there? Just asking

I envision a decade or two from now all those people that ran away to warmer States will be returning north

Allow is a strange word, if you mean attract, probably not, they will return because they can’t stand the heat, humidity, and accompanying economic effects, plus, the State itself will be the draw, a more temperate climate

Black people in Oakland on Facebook often write "Don't Sell Grandmas House" (a lot of black folks who have owned for a long time are cashing out and leaving) because once you do you'll never be able to afford to live here again. So for those who leave the North who can't afford it how will they come back short of having made a bunch of money elsewhere (which isn't likely to happen)?

Won’t be for economic reasons they are returning, nor will the State do much to accommodate them economically, climate is the motivator, they just can’t stand the heat and humidity, all those snowbirds will forget their annual trek

More rich people retuning will only push the lower classes out, so those who left for economic reasons likely aren’t returning no matter how much they may desire too.

We've basically known since the 1990s that human emissions of heat-trapping GHGs were going to warm the planet.

Exxon scientists knew in the 1970s.

Republicans have intentionally allowed climate change become an existential threat.

It's a shame that Republicans are going to make Florida unlivable.

The coast will not only be too hot for tourism but the beaches will wash away all the time


Any coastal homes will be undermined and eventually destroyed
