Agreed investigate first. I'm fine with all Washington politicians being investigated and drug tested. Why the MAGAts think Trump should be immune from investigation just proves they are traitors supporting a megalomaniac pedophile.

All traitors should be hung along with those supporting treason. An oath-breaker = traitor.

We need a Special Prosecutor that does not work for the DOJ to investigate the boss of the DOJ or his family. That ridiculous plea deal that a Federal Judge rejected proves the DOJ is utterly incapable of investigating and bringing to justice the pResident or his family. I would think as an American you would want a neutral investigation. I guess not.

His plea deal was politically motivated by Biden's DOJ, most people go to prison for that, they don't get them reduced to misdemeanors with no jail time.

They appear to be valid charges with a legit plea deal, the Trump judge wants more time to consider if she likes the plea deal or not.

Plea deals save the government money. There's no doubt Hunter could throw a million-dollar defense at a trial and the prosecution would have to match it just to break even.

FWIW, I think 6-12 months in a federal minimum security prison would not only do him good but prove the DOJ isn't catering to cronyism.

I suspect you are correct, but such a deal would be super severe compared to anyone else with the same charges and record.

I don't know what the average is but each case is different.

AFAIK, the facts are these:

1) Like Trump having to be tracked down and having the classified material be demanded to be returned, Hunter had to be hunted down and demanded he pay his taxes. I don't know if he's on a plan or has fully reimbursed the American taxpayers. It's not like he lied about how much money he gave to charity. He avoided paying his taxes.

2) Hunter is a felon in illegal possession of a firearm. Furthermore, he lied on a government form in order to commit the crime of illegal firearm ownership. Heck, if he'd paid child support, he might have asked Navy's mom to buy him the gun. It'd still be a crime for him to have it, but it'd be one less felony.

IMO, he deserves to go to prison for a short time.

No, she rejected the plea deal, she isn't considering it.

Hunter will have to make a new one or face trial on his charges.

I hear you, but if he were not the presidents said n they wouldn’t have tracked him down… and if they somehow caught him, he’d have gotten a better deal.

That's impossible to know and I doubt it. All that had to happen an ex, pissed off GF or his baby momma to drop a dime on his about his taxes and the IRS would have nailed him.
