We dont know that, but we do know that EV fires are difficult and expensive to deal with, even if EV's burn at 1/4 the rate the negative economic consequences are worse.

Why does the West want the Chinese to hold them to ransom? Rare earths like neodymium, praseodymium, dysprosium, metals like chromium, lithium, nickel and copper are almost all controlled by the Chinese.
