Actually all she has to do is adhere to the law and Trump walks.
The only law that Trump broke was actually taking the records in the first place, which he isn't being charged with ironically.
The rest can be argued beyond a reasonable doubt.
Six charges relate to him keeping the files which is not covered under any law and the other 31 fall under the espionage act which doesn't apply here
This is an open and shut case for the defense.

Trump is dead meat. He cannot justify his theft of classified documents. He cannot even justify the ones he took that were not classified. They belong to the people. It is NARAs decision what is allowed to be taken. Trunmp did not follow that process which is specified in the PRA. Trump has no defense.

Smiths next charges will be in DC.
And they will be stripped down and simple charges. Talking heads on TV will be surprised because they will seem a small part of a much bigger crime that could have been charged.
And that is because they will be designed for rapid trial and lack of motions to delay. Much like all the smaller indictments Mueller made, on the road, while still working towards a big connecting charge later.
Jack recognizes the need to get a conviction on the books before the election and he already has one big sprawling case that will likely take years under way with Cannon. He can bring more like that later, in Bedminster and elsewhere. And Fani is bringing one like that in Georgia.
What he needs and knows he needs is a case that is designed for speed. The type that put his family accountant in jail quickly and had few avenues to delay as the case was so simple.
If the case he brings in DC is relatively simple and seems to baffle the TV talking heads as to why he did not bring much bigger charges, you will know i am right.

Yes the Bedminster case will likely come too.
BUt the DC charges will likely be fairly straight forward and tied to efforts to disrupt Congress and stop the Electoral College count.
Not the big sprawling conspiracy type charges Fani is bringing but more likely just some specific, easily proved actions that can get in and out of court quickly. And that would not prevent Smith bringing a more sprawling charge later (Insurrection charges), but he needs something he can complete before the election.
Or at least i suspect he knows he does.
