Az GOP going broke

Candidates generally raise their own money lol

They don't rely on the GOP coffers.

Those are for general spending.

They will replace them fairly easily after the next election cycle.

Nothing to see here.

Actually they do, especially with the PACs. If the AZ GOP can't raise money, how can a single candidate for that party expect to raise the millions for a Senatorial or Presidential run, even as VP? Citizens United opened the flood gates.

Cost to win congressional election skyrockets

People running for the senate or the presidency never have funding issues.

The lower in the ranks you go the harder funding is to come by.

The RNC will cover the costs if local GOP chapters are short of cash, in most cases, depending on the race.

35 million raised in less than three months is not signaling that big donors are moving away from Trump but don't let actual numbers change your narrative.
Care to wager on that as time passes, Tink? How many Billions do you think will be spent on the 2024 election? $14.4 BILLION was spent on the 2020 election. Do you think 2024 will spend more or less?

https://www.opensecrets.org/news/2021/02/2020-cycle-cost-14p4-billion-doubling-16/
Political spending in the 2020 election totaled $14.4 billion, more than doubling the total cost of the record-breaking 2016 presidential election cycle.

That’s according to OpenSecrets’ analysis of Federal Election Commission filings. OpenSecrets previously estimated that the 2020 election would cost around $14 billion. The extraordinary spending figure makes the 2020 election the most expensive of all time by a large margin.

The pricey presidential showdown between Joe Biden and Donald Trump was funded by an unprecedented number of small donors giving online and billionaires who wielded tremendous political influence over the last decade. Donors also fueled record spending in congressional races, capping off the 2020 election with the all-time most expensive Georgia Senate runoffs.

Bet on what?

4 x 35M = $140M. Trump is going to need a lot more than that even to win the nomination. You and I would be betting on whether the Billionaires would support Trump in 2024 like they did in 2020. I’m betting they won’t

We are more than a year out from the election you know.

That's some good fundraising at this point in the game.

When is the Republican convention, Tink? If you were an American, you’d know that’s where the Republican nominees is designated.

Disagreed, hence my suggestion of a wager. :)

Of course.

Fundraising always increases once someone is nominated.
Then why did you not see it before?

Yes, but that's more a matter of focus; all those donations to other candidates now go to the nominee...if they want. Lots of Bernie fans didn't support Hillary. It's part of why she lost. The point I was making is that the major donors won't support Trump.

Why wouldn't corporations donate to a candidate who is going to lower their taxes and reduce their regulations?

...and wants to be President-for-Life? I can think of a few reasons why they'd rather support another Republican candidate.

Arizona, Michigan, and several other states followed Trumpian lies and instructions and wasted huge amounts of time and money developing fake electors. They also keep buying recounts and taking the elections to court. It was a waste since Trump lost a fair and honest election. There are plenty of reasonable Repubs who are offended by the misuse of party funds and how crazy the acts made the party seem. Anything Trump is involved in hurts his followers and makes him richer.
