The Presidential Records Act (PRA) of 1978, 44 U.S.C. §§ 2201–2209,[3] is an Act of the United States Congress governing the official records of Presidents and Vice Presidents created or received after January 20, 1981, and mandating the preservation of all presidential records. Enacted November 4, 1978,[4] the PRA changed the legal ownership of the President's official records from private to public, and established a new statutory structure under which Presidents must manage their records. The PRA was amended in 2014, to include the prohibition of sending electronic records through non-official accounts unless an official account is copied on the transmission, or a copy is forwarded to an official account shortly after creation.[5]

The law says it's a crime, but now they have to get a Judge and jury to agree.

IMO, no prosecutor wants to get their ass kicked in court. Ergo, they don't file charges unless they think they have a good case.

I'm really looking forward to seeing it play out in court. Aren't you? The truth shall prevail!!!

What specific law?

It’s politically motivated, it’s not about winning the case and just like every other criminal case brought against Trump, they all fail.

Ask the lawyers. My skills are aviation-oriented and making popcorn. Looking forward to the trial!

That's Trumpian logic, dear. Will you say the same when Georgia and other states file election fraud and corruption charges against Pedo Don?

people.....it is time to shut the fuck up......just sit back and wait until Trump wins in court.....until then your opinions are meaningless......

Fmr. Trump Press Secretary: I watched him show documents to people at Mar-a-Lago

Stephanie Grisham, former Trump White House Press Secretary and Communications Director, joins Alex Witt to discuss new reports that Trump's 2024 campaign aide Susie Wiles has been identified as the key witness in classified docs indictment and why the former president's lack of respect for classified information is so dangerous. "I watched him show documents to people at Mar-a-Lago on the dining room patio," Grisham says. "He has no respect for classified information [and] never did."

I bet the person he showed was pretty.

He is on a recorded tape stating that documents were not classified.

Trump admitted they were not unclassified. However, the fact that were classified was known long before Trump said that. There is no honest person in politics who accepts Trump's made-up excuse. It is only desperate rightys who will believe anything that will save Trump from facing justice. Classification is not done by presidential whims and feelings. It is a process and he did not do it. All he did was say they were unclassified. That is meaningless.

What specific law?

evince posted it several posts ago, why are you ignoring it?

So you also don’t know any law he broke

None of you can state a specific law that was broken and that’s hilarious

Why are you continuing to ignore evince's post containing the law?
