Fmr. Trump Press Secretary: I watched him show documents to people at Mar-a-Lago

Stephanie Grisham, former Trump White House Press Secretary and Communications Director, joins Alex Witt to discuss new reports that Trump's 2024 campaign aide Susie Wiles has been identified as the key witness in classified docs indictment and why the former president's lack of respect for classified information is so dangerous. "I watched him show documents to people at Mar-a-Lago on the dining room patio," Grisham says. "He has no respect for classified information [and] never did."

They weren't classified. He declassified them when he took them with him as Presidential records. Grisham does not know the law.

Trump's rise to president, and elimination of all the 'guard rails' normally in place for a president culminated in his assent to absolute power.

Absolute power went to Trump's head, as it always does.

Trump actually believed he was above the law, that the law did not apply to him because he was 'special.'

He never really believed the rules applied to him because they never did before. He views rule-breaking as a technique to gain power. He believes the person with the most power gets to make and break the rules at will.

Naturally, he thought nothing of the rules controlling top secret documents. He really believed they were his to do with as he pleased. He has no sense of duty to the United States. He is his only concern.

It is not surprising that he would blow off any attempts to constrain him to the rules.

He brought this all on himself out of nothing more than an over-inflated ego.

He was given every opportunity to comply and he blew it all off.

He is getting what he deserves. Arrested, arraigned and trial date set. No doubt he is not taking it seriously. He can't let himself think for even a moment that any sentence will come of this. I assure you, his major concern in this is how to use this for free publicity and profit. He is in for a very big wake-up call.

She has no power to enforce the law idiot

But our judicial system sure does

So you Russians are fucked

Idiot.

“As president, I could have declassified, but now I can't.” --Donald J. Trump

The mountain of evidence that the Republican Party hoisted on high an evil stupid man just keeps growing

The Republican Party is brain dead at this point

Just a white sheet blowing around screaming racist stupidity no one believes

The sheet is about to blow away in the wind

Then the Republican Party will be nothing but the Russian disinformation program for the world to clearly see

America will recover

The racist Republican Party scam won’t survive

And what law did Trump break again?

If you had an answer you wouldn’t hesitate to tell me but you got nothing
I’ve given you the information twice, others have as well. You just refuse to acknowledge your ignorance. Giving you information you don’t absorb is an exercise in futility.

What does the law say?

The law says it's a crime, but now they have to get a Judge and jury to agree.

IMO, no prosecutor wants to get their ass kicked in court. Ergo, they don't file charges unless they think they have a good case.

I'm really looking forward to seeing it play out in court. Aren't you? The truth shall prevail!!!
