No, he didn't. He made a joke about going "off script". He didn't realize he made a mistake, because he is non-functional. It isn't clever or funny, it is the same one he's made thousands of times before.

They can then put up on the microscreen what would normally be on a 'prompter for him. He'll squint a bunch to cover it... In this way he'll be able to appear functional without a teleprompter. Go to 55 second mark in the video, the reporter even uses a teleprompter app...

Well, a lot of things do go with old age. And Biden has a history of gaffing.

Presidents spend so much time in front of the cameras, microphones, and spotlights, and their schedules are very jetlagging, to say the very least, and so they make more gaffs than anyone.

Most people just laugh and move on. But, no one forgets them!

I think Bush Jr's, were some of the funniest ones, but Biden's are just as silly. Trump is the Gaffmaster of all time though. I mean, how do you stand in front of a bunch of Jewish reporters and mispronounce Yosemite to Yo Semite? :whoa:

At lease Biden jokingly admitted "I better get back to the script- before my staff gets on to me about it"!

I think I could write a book about every president and his gaffs! It would be a very entertaining, enlightening, and humorous book!
