It's laziness. He thought the Manhattan Institute sounded VERY IMPORTANT, and this guy is a FELLOW. Neither one means a fucking thing. What we do know about the author is that he is a hard right bigot. I would be embarrassed, but I don't think that's an emotion any of them feels. They simply plow through and stay the course. It's sublime. But it's part of the reason I'm here. I'm trying to at least understand how their brains work. It's fascinating.
