At this rate, I agree. It's almost like DeSantis wants to run for President but really only wants reelection as Governor.

Right now, it doesn't matter; Trump is in the lead. When he goes down, who moves into the vacuum remains to be seen. If it's DeSantis, I doubt he could easily step into Trump's tiny shoes.

I cannot imagine nominating a candidate from prison, but from my understanding it is legally possible. And even more bizarrely, the Republican primary voters appear ready, willing, and eager to nominate someone in prison.

I feel strange posting this, but it seems very possible that trump could run for president from prison, jail, or on bail. It does not feel possible, but apparently is.

It is clear and concise that the Republicans are getting some real qualified people that are suitable to be the president joining the race.

Asa, Christie, Sununu, Pence, Haley, Scott, Hurd, Cheney all come to mind. If I had to, I could probably deal with any of these people to be the president because they are all proven leaders. None of them are really a match for Bidden though!
