Do you know what percentage of draftees, on average, are actually accepted for military service. Give me what you believe to be the percentage without looking it up, right off the top of your head.

Non sequitur. Neither Clinton nor Biden have bashed veterans and called them failures as you have. trump, who couldn't even remember in which foot he suffered those "debilitating bone spurs" did. That's what we're talking about here. You going after Biden and Clinton makes no sense. McCain's service was an inspiration for many people. I don't think you'd have questioned McCain's service had trump not gone after him. You refuse to admit trump does and says some pretty messed up things. Like I said, it's all a zero-sum game with you and most other trump voters.

My uncle was shot down over Belgium, and is buried in Ardennes American Cemetery and Memorial

His military occupation or specialty was Left Waist Gunner, Attached to 491st Bomber Group, Heavy, 853rd Bomber Squadron. He was only 19 years old.

Dad was a pilot. 13 missions and his plane was hit on three of those. Last one he had to bail and was captured. Went on two forced marches as the Allies closed in. To suggest he did something wrong is disgusting beyond the pale. He was messed up for life. These people are beneath contempt. Flying B-17s was hell on earth. Forty below for eight hours with fighter and antiaircraft trying to knock you out of the sky. If you haven’t yet watch the HBO documentary it’s absolutely gripping.

Flying in bombers was some of the most dangerous jobs in the military. Check out the Thunderbolt vs Mustang escort controversy. Basically they COULD have used the Thunderbolt to escort the B17 bombers it would have saved American lives. Some in the Air Force were convinced B17 could defend themselves. The Thunderbolts had available drop tanks that could give them the needed range. The B17 can defend themselves supporters and would not allow Thunderbolts with drop tanks to be used. When the P47 Mustang came along it was obvious that the B 17s could not defend themselves adequately from German fighters. They acted like it was the first time that we had a solution to the problem. Thousands of fliers died or were captured that did not need to be if they had used the Thunderbolt with drop tanks earlier.

These people are beneath contempt, deplorables. Anyone serving like my uncle, my father, your father, my husband and every POW, Gold Star and Remington Raider, served honorably.
