I did for ten years.
They are falling behind.
Public school is better today than when I was in school, I have two kids in public High School right now. They are better than when I graduated in 1989.

Mostly VHS but I am rebuying them. A lot are on Disney plus but I like the actual collection.
The problem is that Disney takes movies out of circulation for up to five years and you have to wait to get them.

I didn't say there had to be a class on it either.
But some teachers are trying to shoehorn the subject into other subjects where it is not necessary.
And given human nature, it stands to reason that the old "give 'em an inch and they'll take a mile" rule will apply.
Why does there need to be a portion of any academic subject devoted to gays?
There are children falling behind, but not all are. If you have been in the classroom, then you are very aware that the problems are multi layered and that education in the current format does not work well for all children. A one size fits all does not work.

It's only allowed to be spoken of in an approved, woke, politically correct context that blacks approve of.
In others words, blacks are universally victims of white racism and have zero culpability in their current situation.
Like dropping out of school and getting pregnant out of wedlock and joining gangs and getting in trouble with the law and committing violent crimes at rates far above the percentage of society they represent.

Public schools are better.
The kids are, by and large stupider.
They can't spell and they can't think critically or problem solve by using logic.
If they can't Google something they need to have the answer given to them.
It’s because like all groups who were oppressed in society, when times change it because a focus in the arts and education. I remember interracial marriages, divorce, single mothers being treated the same way.
The classrooms I’ve been in I haven’t really seen teachers shoehorning every subject with LBGTQ+ information, even in liberal Harris county.
