Yes, I think they should ignore the subject.
Public schools have more important things than gayness to teach kids about.
Not only became it's something they already know about anyway, but because kids are barely learning those more important subjects as it is and every minute they waste teaching them about being gay, the less time they have to spend on academics.
And yes, I agree the other side can go too far in opposition, also.
If they punish this teacher for a brief reference in a Disney cartoon, that would be heavy handed.
There should be a standard that involves no direct and intentional promotion of or instruction on the gay, xyz + ² lifestyle.
One line in a cartoon, while something they have to investigate based on a parental complaint, should not involve punishment.
Just instruct the teachers to not show it in the future.
