Exactly. And had the (R)s run better campaigns and stayed away from the poisonous touch of Trump in 2022, they might have won more races -- and we wouldn't hear all the whining about "unfair redistricting."

Many years ago the exact same nonsense was said about Japan. They shouldn't be building car plants here. They shouldn't be allowed to buy real estate here. Boycott Japanese vehicles. Blah blah fear-mongering by the RW blah blah.

lol.....so instead of districts created by the state legislature we have districts created by a committee selected by the governor.........you want non-partisan districts?......create them by computer......

In Minnesota, there was same day registration and no voter ID. Minnesota always led (maybe still does) the nation in voter turnout. And guess how much voter fraud there was?

Voter ID laws are a solution to a problem that does not exist. And the solution of course BEOMES the problem, but as long as it keeps old people and black folks from voting, the GOP is all good with it. They would rather disenfranchise a million legal voters than to allow one non-legal vote to be cast. Do the math.

Absolutely correct. The (R)s remind me of a skinny underdeveloped boy who cries "UNFAIR!!!" when he loses a wrestling match, then demands that the coaches ban anyone who weighs more than him from the sport. These voter ID/voter suppression laws are nothing more than the typical we-got-nuthin'-else (R) legislation they've been passing lately. Banning books, banning even the mention of LGBTQ ppl and issues, banning teaching of racism and racial issues, banning citizens of their states from traveling to a free state for a medical procedure they don't like, etc. etc. etc. -- the (R)s are exhibiting fascist authoritarianism at its finest.
