second, it appears that you think because this was 'transparent' then all should be on the up and up non partisan no bias whatsoever because some group is not affiliated with a major party, but that is solution ripe for abuse, as evidenced by our very own Frank Aipsa, who 'claims' to be a radical far left socialist, but he's not because he's a registered independent................

but hey, i'm cool with the 'dismissal' since you couldn't prove your shit.

Sounds like you prefer to subvert democracy rather than promote it. Putin is also infamous for rigging elections in favor of his own party, United Russia.

When California had a ballot proposition to take redistricting away from partisan legislators and put it in the hands of a nonpartisan citizen commission, I voted for it. Even though in theory it weakened the Democratic party' hands.

But I voted for it because I believe in fairness and democracy.

What "shit" did you expect me to prove? I gave you the requested information, my understanding of the processes involved, and our personal experience with the results. You want to believe that the redistricting was somehow corrupt or unfair or biased or whatever, but as usual you have offered nothing but conjecture to validate your beliefs. Your cockeyed paranoia would not have changed had you been present in the commission's meetings the entire time. All their deliberations were publicly released. If there had been bias, don't you think that one or both of the parties would have challenged that?

We also supported the same nonpartisan citizen commission proposition here, too. As did the majority of voters. STY is unhappy because Michigan finally got a (D) majority because the (R) gerrymandering was dismantled.

Of course we can, which is why the (R)s are doing everything legally possibly to make sure that doesn't happen. Gerrymandering, voter suppression, voter intimidation at polls, etc. -- all tactics they are using to try to cling to power.

They were going to build that plant somewhere in the US, hiring American workers. China will also be making batteries in America. It has actually worked out well as Japanese vehicles are being built here.

They don't want Chinese companies making factories here, but then they go to Walmart or Amazon and fill their homes with cheap products from American companies that have factories in China.

Note, the Dems appoint a non-partisan commissions to redistrict. The reds fight it like it is death. The Dems are not trying to slant districts. They just want them fair.

actually it was the county board in Big Rapids that allowed it, there was no vote in the legislature.......to be fair though, since the Demmycrats are in power I doubt they would have stopped it.......
