DEM created TRANSGENDER EPIDEMIC among children -numbers have doubled in just 5 years

Richards had surgery. he wasn't trying to deceive anyone when he transitioned to a woman.

I don't need scientific evidence.

Men and women can NOT switch genders.

Richards wasn't afraid. He wanted to deceive.

You don't need scientific evidence when you just make stuff up.

Who did Richards want to "deceive" exactly? I was a young tennis player at that time and don't remember that part. Details? Link?

Okay. Well since it was 50 years ago I guess you have to get used to it.

Is that just an illogical statement or is it an order, too?

I have competed against men in sports all my life. There is nothing for me to get used to. :dunno:

You have not gotten used to Renee Richards having sex reassignment surgery to change from a male to a female, and that was almost 50 years ago.

What slanted language. 1.4 percent is an epidemic? That was really written and commented on? Phew.

A Deadly, Incurable Mental Illness with a dormant stable rate of cases for the last two decades, suddenly doubles in just 5 years. And the increasing growth rate shows no signs of slowing.

Yeah, that's an epidemic, Moron. :palm:

As Bill Maher said on one of his shows, that if the present trajectory of people identifying as trans continues, by 2025 everyone in America will be trans

"Jody Herman, the paper’s lead author, told Spectrum News there are several reasons for the jump in the youth transgender population estimate, including that the CDC’s Youth Risk Behavior Survey began asking high school students in 2017 if they are transgender, giving researchers a clearer picture.

Obviously the number will increase if you didn't previously ask high school students if they were transgender and now you do.

You arent suggesting HS students exist in a vaccuum are you? Do you think 30 years ago if you asked HS students if they were transgender they would have said, "Yes, we've just been waiting for someone to ask."?

Yes, and ...

"“I think it's a combination of things,” she (Jody Herman) said. “And we should be suspect of pointing at one thing.”

The percentage of young transgender people is disproporniately large compared to the general population. Thirteen to 17-year-olds make up 8% of the U.S. population but account for 18% of transgender people, the report said. Eighteen to 24-year-olds comprise 11% of the overall population but are estimated to be 24% of the transgender community."

I don't think we can minimize the incredible expansion of the illness among our youth. While the "Adult" rate has remained the same.

Youre exactly right its an illness.

TRANSGENDER EPIDEMIC is a great way of putting it into words. They have pissed all over gays, and women, and have taken the entire spotlight away from the Burn Loot Murder scammers.

If you ask a question for the first time you will obviously get an "increase" compared to those surveys when that question was not asked. Not many high school kids might have answered "yes" 30 years ago, but the number would have increased over the years.

1.4% does not seem like an "epidemic."

The first time argument doesn't seem to fit as you recognize 30 years ago, even hearing that question the first time, you would have only gotten strange stares. The "increase" is a result of a cultural push not hearing the question for the first time.

The increase is significant is some demographic groups.

Many adults do not identify as transexual. You have seen many adult women who look "butch" who wear male clothing and male haircut and may (or may not) have a same sex partner. That 40 year-old female does not identify as transgender. However, a 16-18 year old female does.

Sure, the same cultural push makes homosexual people, overweight people, etc. being more public about their identity. It doesn't mean there are more gay people, just more who admit it because they are less afraid of the bigots who berate them for it.
