Charges against Baldwin dropped due to a complete lack of evidence

There was a co-producer who hired the people who then hired the staff. For instance, the cast was hired by the casting director, who was in turn hired by the co-producer.

Who's responsible at the top? Like a CEO? Or is this like Lt. Calley where the lowest person in charge is held accountable and no one else?

A drunk driver may accidentally kill someone, but they did not drive drunk accidentally.

HAHAHAHA. You stupid ignorant jackass. Many people drive drunk accidentally. They had a few beers a few hours back and honestly don't think they are above the limit. But they are. THINK, you miserable tranny,

You moron - that is not the question at all. The question is was he negligent and the answer is clearly yes.

To get to criminal negligence, Baldwin would have to show reckless disregard. Given that he thought it was a harmless prop, it would be impossible for him to show reckless disregard with a harmless prop.

Who does anyone care about these people?

The same reason they care about British royalty, sports stars and other celebrities.

FWIW, I like certain movies starts for their movies, but would never want to be in the same room with them because many are wackadoodles. Tom Cruise being one example.

Was Baldwin intentionally using the gun to threaten Hutchins? That is the legal question.

But yes, when you go after a rich defendant, you are forced to put together a bigger team. So it does cut both ways with trump. I would argue trump got away with a lot before being challenged.

How many other shooting incidents has Baldwin been involved in?

That is not the legal question. They have been at it for over a year and a half and know that is not what happened. How many shootings have you been involved in? Baldwin is not a gun lover.

Yet he seeks to profit off guns with his movie "Rust" where he plays a violent outlaw.

It's like Sean Penn screaming about guns for years then, when he needed money, he made the movie "The Gunman", where he plays a violent mercenary. The movie racks up a body count of 16 or so.

Do you think that made sense? You may not know it but acting is pretend.

That is a civil liability argument.

Yes, and a settlement, I believe, was reached in the civil case. As for the criminal case, Baldwin says he did not pull the trigger. And after much derision and ridicule from the Trumptards, it turns out that he was very likely telling the truth.

It makes sense to me that it's hypocritical of someone to deplore firearms then both have armed guards and profiting off gun violence. Pretend or not.

The fact you can't understand the difference is why you are unable to understand half of America.

And the professional staff was responsible for doing their jobs.

Correct...unless it was known that the staff was hired because they were cheap, not professional.

Who was responsible for hiring the gun handlers on the set? Who was responsible for investigating if safety concerns are raised by crew members?

Again, like the Trumpers, you want to stand by your man and let him skate on his responsibilities.

IMO, that's part of the problem. Not holding leaders, especially elected leaders, accountable. Sure, politicians have been lying for decades, but none to my knowledge looked into a camera eye and lie knowing part of America would overlook his lie in order to get him elected. The Democrats lost their front-runner, Gary Hart, in the previous election and didn't want to make that mistake again.

FWIW, I liked GHW Bush. He made mistakes but he did well in being honest about it. This isn't all on the Clintons or the Democrats, this was a perfect storm of Democrats who'd, theoretically, kill to take the WH. It's also on the Republicans for trying to reinvent itself, the fucking Soviets turned into wimps. Having already invited the religious wackos to the table in the 1980 election, nature abhorring a vacuum, the religious wackos filled it in along with a nice slice of white suprematism. Manifest Destiny, dontchaknow. LOL
