2 cheerleaders shot after trying to get into the wrong car in grocery store parking

I wouldn't shoot two cheerleaders trying to get into my car!

Actually, they were trying to get away from the car. They were in the car, realized they had made a mistake, and tried to get away from the car. Would you shoot two cheerleaders trying to get away from your car?

Nope and don't really care. The selective outrage of leftists leaves me feeling quite apathetic because I know these things only matter them for political reasons and not because they actually care so there's no reason to engage ina sensible conversation about it.

Nothing says "I'm chock full of white privilege" like this statement here being used as an argument against a need for protection.

Broad brushing what Americans need is silly when spread across a nation of 330,000,000 citizens. This is especially so when it comes to the unalienable right of self-defense.

This attitude of dictating from Washington, D.C. has been a Democratic trait since FDR. What's worse is that the Republicans have now joined them in a race to see who can impose the most authoritarian laws across the land. The Republicans no longer support State's Rights as proved by their actions the past decade.

There is no mention of "need" in the 2A, this argument is equally stupid as the "I don't need it because nobody has ever hurt anyone I know in my lily white world."

Agreed. The authoritarians believe the Constitution limits the rights of Americans; a concern that was brought up at the time the Bill of Rights was proposed. The reality is that the purpose of the Constitution was to limit the Federal government.

Over the past three centuries, that has shifted. Now both parties are pushing to have the rights of Americans limited by the Federal government. It's one thing to have one party pushing for the Feds and the other party pushing for State's Rights. Now neither party is supporting State's Rights and both are seeking to impose Federal law to limit the rights of Americans.

I came out of the Doughnut shop the other day and got in my car- except it wasn't my car. No, it was one exactly like mine.

Same model, same year, same color!

I saw a pack of cigarettes lying on the console, and said to myself, "How did those get there", and realized my car was sitting one over.

So, I like jumped out of the car and went to my car and drove out of there like a bat out of hell!

Normally I would have locked my car, but my clicker needs a battery, so I haven't been locking it just to run in and out of convenient stores etc.

I live in Texas, and now to think- I was lucky I wasn't shot and killed by some guntard!

Well, this little anecdote is not really surprising coming from a vacuous moron. But I have some tips for you. I drive a popular and very common make and model pickup truck. And evidently the color is also very popular even though I picked it because it was the last one on the lot. So it is not uncommon for me to exit a supermarket and see at least one other identical vehicle in close proximity to mine. But in 50 years of driving, I have NEVER gotten into the wrong vehicle (full disclosure, I HAVE locked my keys in the car twice. That was costly and embarrassing). And I will now tell you how you too can never have to experience this again.

1) My truck won't start WITHOUT the remote or "clicker" as you call it, so I change the battery every year whether it needs it or not.

2) I have no idea what kind of retard rig you have, but my remote has a physical key to at least unlock the door if the battery is dead, SO I ALWAYS LOCK MY TRUCK, EVEN IN MY OWN DRIVEWAY.

3) Even your remote should have a panic button on it, push the damn button and then push it again when the horn goes off, (This is assuming the battery in your remote is good).

4) I have a couple of distinctive stickers on my back window that immediately identify my truck in the herd. I have taken the liberty of making a couple suggestions that I'm sure you will find to your liking (no accounting for taste).

5) Situational awareness. Look it up.

Agreed on situational awareness, but telling that to teenagers and expecting them to maintain it 100% of the time is asking a lot.

Sir, I already resolved the problem by replacing the worn out clicker. I actually drove straight to the dealer and purchased another clicker that very day!

When I made that honest mistake, that was the first- and last time I even ever left my car unlocked in the last 45 years or more.

But thanks for the Sermon!
