Charges against Baldwin dropped due to a complete lack of evidence

The left said this from the beginning. It was an accident. The right knew he was spending the rest of his life in jail.

I believe this was a tragic accident, and I also believe that Baldwin met with the widower and talked with him.... person to person. Baldwin has and should have civil liability, and I'm guessing that box has been checked as well. I don't think the husband would agree to be Executive Producer if he felt Baldwin was anything less than sincere. That's very telling. Sad, tragic accident that was not handled well by Baldwin the public figure. But it looks like Baldwin the human being may have done the trick.

"No evidence"? His prints on the gun, multiple witnesses who saw him shoot them both.

They may have dropped charges, but the rest sounds l;ike some more of your madeup bullshit.

Link to the prosecutor saying there is a "complete lack of evidence", as opposed to "Baldwin pays well"...

" The gun used in the fatal shooting on the "Rust" movie set could not have been fired without pulling the trigger, according to an FBI forensic report obtained Friday by ABC News.

Actor Alec Baldwin shot cinematographer Halyna Hutchins on the set of the Western, which he was producing and starring in, last year. The actor believed he was handling a "cold gun" -- one without live ammunition -- when it went off and a live bullet struck Hutchins, killing her. The film's director, Joel Souza, was also wounded in the"

Now they are saying the opposite, that the gun was "modified" so it could accidentally fire; the EXACT OPPOSITE OF THE FBIs FINDINGS.

This is nothing more than the democrats of new mexico circling the wagons for one of their own.

There should be sanctions for prosecutors who bring charges without any kind of real case to back them up.
Multiple occurrences should lead to disbarment.

The FBI said the gun could NOT HAVE ACCIDENTALLY FIRED.

Now it "accidentally fired" is the "official judgement".

New Mexico has always had "justice" for the right price...

Even the prosecutions witness says that Baldwin was told it was not an operational gun. That means that Baldwin could not have known that it could be fired.

Save your bullshit. The FBI said it worked correctly, and that it could not be fired without pulling the trigger.

And now, more than TWO YEARS LATER, a "report" says that the gun was "modified", and was prone to accidental discharge.

So the FBI didn't know what they were doing when testing the gun?

FUCKING BULLSHIT; this is , BACKROOM, BOUGHT AND PAID FOR "JUSTICE".

I'll go with the FBI's account over Baldwin's paid "witness". Baldwin pulled the trigger , without checking the gun himself. Negligent homicide, at the least.

We were just laughing here about how this news is going to make the Reichwingers' heads explode. I love it. :rofl2:

Oh, so you think Baldwin should suffer no legal consequences from reckless use of a firearm hum? Yet, if I recall correctly, you are for banning assault rifles and other firearms, etc...

Drunk drivers who kill also had an accident but they are prosecuted. The case against baldwin for manslaughter is extremely strong. And maybe murder.
