NRA continues to prove they are not safe, responsible gun owners

I said we are in last place in the first world, but that does not exclude us from being in last place among other countries.

So you have moved the goalposts to try to defend your racism. I know.

Are you a "lifetime member"? If so, it is pretty much impossible to not be a member, according to the NRA.

Life membership would be "pretty much impossible to not be a member, according to" any organization, wouldn't it?

NRA executive council after Columbine speaking about its membership

the members meeting, and you're going to have the wackos ... with all kinds of crazy resolutions, with all kinds of, of dressing like a bunch of hillbillies and idiots. And, and it's gonna, it's gonna be the worst thing you can imagine. "Made that point earlier. I agree," says Makris. "The fruitcakes are going to show up."

NRA leaders called its members 'hillbillies' and 'fruitcakes' in secretly recorded audio following Columbine massacre

Which is the whole point. The NRA is lying about the number of active members. Heck, many of the "life members" are actually dead.

The original goal post has not been moved. I have pointed out another goal post.

That is a semantic lie. But now that we are Allowed (by you) to compare gun ownership to murder rates in any country, we can look at Jamaica.

IIRC, Jamaica has a murder rate of 83 per 100k and. gun ownership of 12.5 (vs. 120.5 U.S.).

It is quite clear that there is NO relationship between murder rates and gun ownership.

I would argue there is some relationship between gun ownership, and murder rate, but a much stronger relationship between irresponsible gun ownership, and murder rate. Switzerland has high gun ownership, and a high murder rate compared to other Western European countries. It also has very responsible gun owners, so a much lower murder rate than the USA.

What we do not see when we look at Switzerland is a correlation between number of whites and low murder. In fact, Switzerland has many, many more whites than France, but a much higher murder rate than France.

You are stuck comparing us to Jamaica? Maybe if we keep allowing Republicans into office, we will end up like Jamaica, but we are nowhere near there yet.

You are exactly right. It used to be about hunting, hunter safety, and the magazine had articles of interest to hobbyists, reloaders, and target shooters as well.

For the last 30 years it has been a marketing arm of the gun manufacturers, and their voice in Congress. If you are a gun owner and think that they care about you and represent you, you're wrong. They don't.

It never was about hunting. It doesn't sell any gun. They have always been a voice in Congress.

Blatant lie.
Latvia has the highest homicide rate in Europe, currently at 4.88/100k.
Both France and Germany have higher homicide rates than Switzerland, which enjoys a very low homicide rate of 0.55/100k.

Switzerland also has 2 million guns owned among some 8.3 million people.

Blatant lie. Racism.

Currently, the highest homicide rate (due to guns) is El Salvador. It also has very restrictive gun laws.
Sources: UNODOC, various selected national gun laws.

The States is currently placing 87th in homicide rates due to guns, despite there being more guns than citizens in the States. The Constitution of the United States prohibits any government from banning or limiting guns. The right of the people to own and carry any weapon including any gun shall not be infringed.

You have already stated your fear of 'gun free zones' and you have already shown your hoplophobia. You making up numbers makes no difference.
