NRA continues to prove they are not safe, responsible gun owners

This is bad enough. Then along comes a forced-birther gun-humper and puts a groan on your post. Apparently his concern is only for globs of potential children, not already-living children.

OMG! A groan! You do it all the time

The real goal of the NRA is to create markets for gun manufacturers, and gun sellers, and not safety of the public.

You should not speak of things you know nothing of.

I see that there is people dying every week in mass shooting, and I see that the NRA is encouraging people to buy guns. So what did I miss?

No, you don't see the NRA encouraging people to buy guns. You don't have a clue what the NRA is encouraging because you don't pay one damn bit of attention to us. We promote safety and responsibility while handling a firearm.

Once again, the NRA is the best argument against gun ownership. They once again lack even the most basic common sense of gun safety.

Super corrupt South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem says she has given her two year old grandchild several guns... Because in a country where guns are the leading cause of child deaths, that makes a lot of sense.

Gaslighting today, are you?

Right.....so paying off congressmen to vote AGAINST the wishes of the majority of the people (AND NRA members) on gun control is okay by you....victims of guns formerly banned non-withstanding.

You don't get to speak for everyone. Further, it is unconstitutional to ban or limit any gun.

There are two questions we have to ask: how hard is this family trying to keep guns out of the hands of children? and what age will they give a gun to these children?

My guess given they are giving ownership of guns to a two years old is that they are not trying hard to keep guns out of the hands of children, and will give guns to children at a very young age.

The operative phrase here is 'my guess'. You are guessing, that's all.

Actually, my dear, I do not. I have exactly one groan given in our five and a half years here.* And that was an accident. I clicked something I didn't mean to. Have no idea who was the unlucky sap who got it, but whoever you are -- I didn't mean it!

* It's on the right of your screen across from your name/profile pic, and is on all of our profiles. You've groaned ppl 133 times.

You are exactly right. It used to be about hunting, hunter safety, and the magazine had articles of interest to hobbyists, reloaders, and target shooters as well.

For the last 30 years it has been a marketing arm of the gun manufacturers, and their voice in Congress. If you are a gun owner and think that they care about you and represent you, you're wrong. They don't.

It was a strategy to counter the gun-banners in the Democratic Party. IMO, Clinton broke a trust by seeking to ban guns instead of tighten procedures and oversight. The NRA reacted.

I was a member of the NRA in those days and, although I didn't like it becoming more political, I understood why it did. When it did, they became more pushy about raising money and I eventually let my membership lapse for about decade until Obama's Gun Banning bill was proposed after Sandy Hook. I signed up for the NRA and then extended it 7 years. It lapses this year and I'll let it do so due to the corruption.

Bermuda, Bahrain, Singapore, Hong Kong, Japan, Macau, Oman, Senegal, Indonesia, Qatar, Brunie, China... I could go on and on, but there are plenty of countries with non-white majorities that have much lower murder rates than the USA.

Many of those you listed are NOT "first world". Hong Kong is NOT even a country. :palm:

Your attempt to defend your racism has caused you to lie and fail.
