Christian theology is based on the New Testament, and the main importance of the Hebrew bible to Christians is for its prophetic references to Jesus.


Why don't you find some citations of Jesus teaching the disciples to seek out profit.

You're talking about Christians who actually *try* to follow the Lord's teachings. I have seen very little sign of such Christians on this forum. There are a few, but most self-proclaimed Christian RWers here are proud of their bigotry and hatred and exhibit it daily.

I so rarely see it from today's Christians. Especially on this board. It has become more of a religion of hate & intolerance than anything else.

Difference between Judaism and xtianity

Judaism teaches that to sin is a part of life, since there is no perfect human and everyone has an inclination to do evil "from youth", though people are born sinless.


Judaism teaches that human beings are not basically sinful. We come into the world neither carrying the burden of sin committed by our ancestors nor tainted by it. Rather, sin, chet, is the result of our human inclinations, the yetzer, which must be properly channeled.
