That's nothing but a continuum fallacy. Just because I don't accept a zero tolerance towards pollution doesn't mean I don't want controls on pollution. You are making it an all-or-nothing proposition which it shouldn't be and that resulted in the fallacy you committed.
My position is that some pollution has to be accepted in order for a modern society to work. What we need to find is the optimal level of pollution, not the minimum or rejecting all solutions that don't involve removal of all pollution.
You made the claim the the Left supports the extreme measure. That is in itself a continuum fallacy.
Of course every one knows it's impossible by modern standards to control all kinds of pollution.
