And I didn’t say Americans are anti-education, but rather that many on the right think they are authorities are eduction, a “talent” they’d never bloviate regarding other professions

Largely cause that “experience” becomes further antiquated as time passes, we all played some sports, as we have all done home plumbing repairs, but that doesn’t make us experts in either of those fields, or, our opinions on them qualifying

And never said calculus should be dumped, nor did the study, rather that some thought should be given to deemphasizing it as necessary for college preparation

At Vanderbilt..."Most of the math concepts used in the Executive MBA curriculum are algebraic in nature, students must also have a general understanding of calculus. As a result, Math Camp content areas include algebra and calculus (weeks one and two) and statistics (weeks three and four)."

Engineers must take calculus I and calculus II, Anchovies.

It is also required for an ECon PhD...my Son-in-Law's program required calculus.

Liberal arts students are required to be proficient in basket weaving.

MBA is a graduate program. I was discussing high school and college undergrad.

I doubt there are many investment bankers on Wall Street using calculus as a routine part of their job, whereas statistics and probability come into play frequently.

I've never known a college that had an engineering "school", a history "school, a physics "school", or a geology "school".

We called them majors; or departments if referring to the building.

The only things called schools were the post-graduate professional law schools and medical schools.
