I'm glad someone said it. No one even knows who the boy is or how he's doing. What if he feels victimized, violated, or raped? What if he's confused because he's 13 and has no idea that he has just irreversibly altered the course of the entire rest of his life?

Instead we have JPP pigs high fiving each other about an unknown 13-year-old child fucking a 31-year-old child abuser. We are surrounded by unevolved bottom dwellers.

Not only was the teacher the kid's teacher, she's an adult responsible for the kid's well-being.

Yeah, you're right. The OP article doesn't say she's the kid's teacher. Just an adult who has to register as a sex offender now as part of her plea deal.

I'm well aware. Hawkeye has never been quite right in the head. He's a substance abuser and talks in codes. His family hates him, so he visits his miserable life onto us unlucky JPP posters.
 
To treat men more harshly than women as an admission that females are inferior to males, that less can be expected from them.

I wouldn't go so far as to say there are -no- similarities, but I agree that things are vastly different when it comes to males and females in this situation. I read the entire article and noted that the father of the boy wasn't mentioned at all, and no word at all from the boy or his friends either.

This doesn't mean that the boy wasn't coerced at some point. Based on the following story, I suspect being a very young boy would make it a bigger problem:

But then there are stories like this one, wherein multiple boys apparently saw it the way you describe:

Then there's the case of Mary Letourneau and Fualuaau. I remember hearing about this one a while back. Fualuaau was 12 during his first sexual encounter with Letourneau. The boy claimed to love the woman, and ended up having 2 kids with her. Letourneau was let off with only 3 months jail time the first time she was caught, but she served several years the second time. Once he was of age, Fualuaau married her and remained married with her for 14 years until their separation in 2019. As for the epilogue:

There are a lot of factors to consider, especially if pregnancy is involved. Ultimately, I think most would agree that the most important thing is how it affects the minor in question, and that depends on a case by case basis. In the case this thread revolves around, the only bit of information I've been able to glean regarding the feelings of the boy is that he allegedly consented to the sexual acts, at least according to the defense lawyer, which I think we can all agree is important if true, even if it's not legal for him to consent where he's at. Perhaps in time, more will be revealed as to how he felt about his sexual interactions with her, but that article was rather sparse on that count.
