Republicans calling for succession…

Our government provides totally legal ways to change or even abolish it.

If the majority of Americans want to change or abolish our government,
they can legally do it,
within the provisions of the current constitution,
and the process begins with free and fair elections.

If others choose to do it by revolution, they either win or face the consequences.
I'm not sure that the consequences are nearly as draconian as they should be.

Everybody seems to be getting just three years.
Still, three years in prison is no walk in the park.

The 2020 election faulted due to election fraud by DEMOCRATS. The 2022 governor elections faulted due to election fraud by DEMOCRATS.

We'd have to bifurcate the country because most of the red states are in the middle, and again, a good number of the red states are only that way by slim margins. It would needlessly complicate so many things, like Brexit turned up to 11. Would we even let the red states use our currency? Would red states withhold agriculture out of spite?

The currency is already failing. People are already looking around for another currency.

Personally, I don't think it could be worse than the clusterfuck we have now.
Selling agriculture to blue states means not letting the crops wither on the vine and not going without money.

I don't have an inflated opinion of red state intelligence, but they can't be that stupid.

They could have their white Christian handmaid state, we could finally embrace modernity without their impedance, and more people should be happy than are now.
We'll never get it perfect, but what we have now is untenable.

Nah. Just sell it overseas.

Well, that wasn't exactly a heavy lift. I believe the absurdity of the idea that America is some sort of oppressive or tyrannical state has now been demonstrated, quite thoroughly.

I don't understand something. nearly every fricking day we hear or read stories about how someone died at the hands of law enforcement, or someones home was taken due to corrupt tactics to use eminent domain, or that someone had their life savings stolen because the government claimed it was drug money.......policing for profit, government retribution, selective prosecution, qualified immunity, absolute immunity..........

how can you see or hear these things that happen everyday and still believe you're free? Is it just because it didn't happen to you or anyone you know?

So, in your estimation - America has never been a free nation?

Because we have always had those issues, and much worse the further back you go.

We're a nation of 350 million+. There will be corruption; there will be abuse. I don't know what kind of perfection you're looking for, but the good thing about our country is that there are many ways to continue to improve the lives of everyone, and everyone has recourse legally if they feel they have been mistreated, and can effect change politically if they see systemic issues.

You saw the video from 1/6. One of the "protestors" said 'we may as well start a new government as long as we're here.' Can you imagine the government that those people would start? Some who have been griping about oppression would likely get their first real experience w/ it.

within 20 years of ratification of the Constitution, the federal government, followed by the states and municipalities, has increasingly restricted freedom to increase the power of government. every decade that goes by, they take more from us.

Because we have always had those issues, and much worse the further back you go.
incorrect, as I stated above.

along with that nation of 350+ million, we also have wide ranging groups who either want MORE government power or MORE restrictions on peoples freedom. If history has taught anyone anything, it's to NOT rely on the courts to provide complete justice and protect the people all the time.

and MAYBE that type of oppression would be something that others NEED to experience. At the very least it would show the rest of us if fighting for freedom was even worth it anymore. At the very best, it would show those who have WANTED greater restrictions on the people to change their minds and be less afraid of freedom.

Nothing like a good ad hom in the morning.

It's embarrassing for anyone to use the word "tyranny" for anything that happens in America. My parents & their parents actually LIVED under tyranny, and oppression. It does a tremendous disservice to the millions throughout history who have had to live in those conditions for spoiled l'il Americans to say that they're oppressed, or that their freedoms are restricted.

The Supreme Court has no say, other than that they MUST conform to the 2nd amendment for any rulings along these lines.

That is what i am trying to point out to that moron.

In other words, “pidgen” swallowed all the lies his icons told him even though they themselves didn’t believe them, no surprising

No.

It begins with purging the judiciary of anti-constitutionalists.

Legally dismantling the republic begins with the purging of anti-constitutional jurists?
Or, as usual, AssHhat, don't you have a fucking idea about what we're discussing?

Are the same ones who brag that Abraham Lincoln was a Republican.

Think about that for a second.

The democrats who did this;

Are the same ones who did this;

democrats, democrats never change.

Err. That is in the preamble to the constitution. I know you alt lefties hate this country but there are options for you....

You reddened the part that says when any form of government becomes destructive of these ends it becomes the people's right to alter or abolish it. I know it is the preamble. I guess your twisted and warped mind thinks it is that time. You are an anarchist.
