I would have thought hat that would be the responsibility of the railroad and the tracks that they own, and maintain. However, I would never expect common sense from your kind.

Right, because you are on the left so you can't figure out that interstate transport might fall under the Transportation Secretary... A bit like the FAA...

Buttigieg is entirely unable to function in the job. Lemon has exactly the same experience in the role as Mayor Pete had, maybe he'll do better. I know who shouldn't be there. Somebody who doesn't even understand the role enough to figure out that the Transportation Secretary is responsible for interstate transport, even if it is on rails...

It's the railroad who is responsible for the tracks they own and the proper maintenance of those tracks. Is the Transportation Secy supposed to be out every day checking every mile of railroad tracks? You couldn't care less about right or wrong to you it's just another opportunity to post something you know nothing about. Own the libs, right?

The railroad is responsible for fulfilling the obligation set by the regulations over which the Transportation Secretary presides. There is a reason that folks are asking questions of Buttigieg now, and it isn't because you are too stupid to understand that he is responsible.

You really need to stop. Every post like this is just dropping the overall IQ of this place.

Buttigieg is absent when he is needed, cannot do the job (remember the backlog of ships), has never shown competence at the job, and still cannot get past trying to blame Trump.

Enough. Mayor Pete, it is your job, man.

Is the railroad not responsible for maintaining the tracks, and track beds that they own? Simple question-simple answer. Is any company not responsible for their own maintenance and upkeep? What's you next excuse, Einstein?

Just this morning I read an article that stated that this railroad had reduced the number of workers who were responsible for track maintenance. After all its all about profit and what they can get away with.

the hypersensitivity of woke snowflakes is nothing less than pathetic.

I really wish the woke were all republicans because they embarrass me as a progressive liberal.

The Transportation Secretary is specifically listed as in charge of Rail Infrastructure and implementing regulations regarding interstate trasnport. This is why he was also responsible to work with the union to avoid the strikes... and because it is part of national policy the President was able to simply declare it illegal for them to strike.

Anyway, yes. Buttigieg is responsible for exactly this kind of thing. Including the issues from wreckage. He should be there working with the EPA to resolve issues. Not ignoring them and trying to pass the buck. Shoot even Brandon is passing the buck on this one, or trying to. (Just FYI, Brandon. The Buck stops at your desk, you can't keep trying to place it on Trump's. Hire someone that can do the job, with actual experience and capabilities, not just because they fit "diversity standards"...)

I don't care about Lemon--know almost nothing about him--but life walking on eggs is no life at all.
Hypersensitivity is out of control in our society.
To most people in the world, the American population must seem like a tray of creampuffs.
