Not, "whatever the fuck he wants", the AG serves the American people, not the president. twump thought the AG's worked for him and Barr was only too happy to comply - like when Barr buried and whitewashed the Mueller report.

Thankfully, Barr drew the line at supporting twump's coup attempt. Doesn't make up for all the other bullshit Barr did on behalf of twump, IMO.

The US DOJ is investigating twump as well. Jack Smith is the independent counsel on the job. But you are correct in that this thread is about the Georgia matter only. Which kind of makes my point about the AG's independence. I doubt GA's Governor Kemp directed Willis to set up a grand jury to investigate twump.

Looks like Kari Lake's claim of "fraud" just got rejected by the AZ appeals court.

Like Trump, she has vowed to keep fighting. How many courts have to rule on these elections before these liars & grifters stop lying and grifting?

Will his dupes buy that? If they don't, the next step will be to tell them that the grand jury was comprehensively lied to.

Grand Juries are about as unconstitutional and biased as they come. Prosecutors use lies, liars and non-credible witnesses to
obtain an indictment when they don't have enough credible evidence to make a formal arrest. Grand Juries are lied to all the time.
