It is relevant. If the committee were a one-party witch hunt with no attempt at allowing cross-examination while cherry picking all the evidence presented, as the Jan 6 committee clearly did, it made the committee's findings irrelevant as it was indeed the witch hunt it appeared to by.

Dude. What happened, happened. Cross-examination by MAGA republicans would not have changed what twump and his cronies did. Republicans and twump loyalists were the ones testifying before the 1/6. You want cross-examinations by MAGAs like Gym Jordan and MTG because it might have confused and clouded the issue.

Oh gee how did the J6 committee forget to mention this? And why did law enforcement like the FBI fail to act upon its intelligence? Probably because they wanted it to happen. That is the reason the provocateurs like Ray Epps, the megaphone guy, and others have never been arrested for their parts in inciting the crowds. Oh and who was ultimately responsible to make sure the Capitol was protected? Nancy Pelosi a person that was politically interested in making Trump and his supporters look bad. And somehow the J6 committee just forgot to report to the public on why law enforcement was caught flat footer on J6. Yes a few of Trump supporters were idiots but keep in mind tens of millions of Trump supporters voted for him and did not riot on J6.

It would have definitely changed the narrative, and it might well have uncovered some of the hidden fuck ups by those in Congress like Pelosi. Your last sentence says it all. If the persecution's case is so weak that Jordan or MTG could easily befuddle it, then it wasn't worth bringing to begin with.

I know. That's what you want to do. Change the narrative. Confuse the issue. We're in agreement. Even if Pelosi "fucked up" which I doubt, it would not have changed who incited the violence and who sat there for 3 hours watching it instead of stopping it. But the fact remains they did overrun the Congress attempting to stop the peaceful transfer of power as directed by the Constitution, so don’t try to blame others for their actions

And if I am not mistaken that was Trump’s administration’s DOJ, Billy Barr’s venue

Agreed. The link even says Trump started the riot. That means Trump is responsible for all the deaths and injuries which happened during his riot.
