quite the contrary....it is YOU who argues that marriage is not safe unless people accept your demands that gay marriage be outlawed.

no one who advocates gay marriage makes the argument that the world will be safe because gay marriage is allowed, it is in fact folks like you who argue allowing gay marriage will make us unsafe unless we accept your morals....

hypocrite...it is you forcing your morals on people....not the other way around...

gay marriage wouldn't change your life or marriage, but you are changing their lives and forcing them to not enjoy the full benefits of marriage, which in this country is not a religious or moral institution.

those are the facts. and it is why you ignored the last part of my post, because you know you can't rationally counter it.

Really? You people don't have bigger things to worry about? Your shit is so sweet and worries so few that you can take the time to concern yourselves with the actions and relationships of others? It's not on the top of my list of issues I support, in fact it's nowhere near my list. I just don't get what is the big deal.

On the other hand, I say similar things when Gay advocates are unwilling to accept civil unions if said unions offer the same benefits of marriage.

Maybe it's a religion thing, I don't know.

No matter how you slice, however, I can't help but think there are bigger issues facing this nation than this one.

you demanding they accept your morality and not be allowed to marry is forcing them to accept your morality....

if they get married you don't have to accept their relationship at all....you allow murderers, adulterers, liars to get married....but not homosexuals...

gay marriage would do nothing to your morals, my morals or anyone elses....

people get married under false pretenses, to come to this country or to get someone's wealth....i could go on but the point is hetro marriage isn't any moral than gay marriage in this country.

the governmetn needs to get out of marriage and grant civil unions to everyone and if you want to get married, that is seperate between the parties....makes perfect sense because you can't contract for illegal behavior, so only legal behavior or relationships i mean, could enter into a civil union....it wholly inequitable to grant them civil unions and not marriage, marriage according to this country, not religious marriage
