I don't see any "have to" in there. Methinks the OP is (like usual) using hyperbole to fit his own agenda. While some may choose to say they are "hiding" books to avoid prosecution, most simply remove them from the classroom to avoid prosecution. Also some hyperbolize and close down the entire library hurting children's education to make a political point, but it is not something they "have to" do, they are doing it because their political agenda is more important to them than the children's education.

Its all about molding the next generation to be suitable for UTOPIA....if they believed in a God they would say that they are doing Gods work.

Grade school classrooms almost always have a little bookshelf with children's books that the kids can look at in class, or take home. Teachers buy the books with their own money, some are donated, some are paid for by the school district.
Florida wants to have government-trained "media specialists" who will approve those books and punish teachers who have unapproved books. It's government censorship, forbidden by the First Amendment that the rest of America follows.

Whole thing is dumb. Like I said, it was not until I got to college that I got a real education. This stuff is trivial garbage.
