Thats all bullshit, because The NY Times confirmed that the documents were kept in a storage room with lawn and garden equipment. Documents were also kept in plain view on his office desk as well as his office in NYC. Read what I posted.

I already posted a link to the effect that a VP does have the authority to declassify documents. If you aren't going to bother to read, just fuck off since you are an idiot as well.

Again, only in the "performance of his duties". If he's acting as President he can, otherwise his only job is to breathe and keep a beating heart.

So, the very short period that he might be in charge while a president is in surgery... yes, because he's Acting President at that time and it is in the scope of his actual duties.

When he's the President of the Senate and otherwise has no duties, he does not.

Unlike the President who has plenary power to declassify, the VP can only do it during times he is Acting President and then only within the scope of that duty.

The VP does not have his own authority to declassify any documents.
