Simply not true, my good friends son was born with severe autism, switch him at birth, and he behaves exactly the same.

It was the circumstances being discussed. Even BP understood that.

So I gather you feel your son is unequal. Thats kind of sad.

Under God and before the law, yes. In between, not so much. For example, look at all the conspiracy theorist dumbasses on JPP. They’re not equal to the sane, intelligent people.
 
If the right to life and liberty is self evident, why do we have the death penalty?

I am just saying what the declaration meant from Jefferson's point of view.

We have obviously interpreted the Declaration more broadly in the intervening years since 1776.


That doesn't diminish that what Jefferson wrote at the time was quite radical.

Criminals are mutated enemies of the human race, so it doesn't apply to them. It's like saying that soldiers convicted of treason should still get veterans' benefits.
