So what is the goal of the ultra MAGA, the MTG and Boebart's.... Do they want the federal government destroyed? Bannon says "Burn it down", and he means it.

Do they want anarchy? What do they hope to accomplish by ending the House of Representatives? Do they have a plan for going forward, or are they simply trying to destroy America?

Im happy to talk about that, but that is not this topic. For the record, I do not agree that the Democrats (for the most part) want to destroy America. Maybe change it for the better, improve it. Not tear it down by obstructing the business of the Constitutionally prescribed House of Representatives.

I do understand why you are trying to deflect.

I believe I heard the reason on C-Span from a caller this morning. They want a speaker that hasn't sold his soul to Pelosi, Biden and the demon Democrats.

She didn't elaborate on how McCarthy sold his soul to Pelosi but she seemed to know that Pelosi was the devil incarnate.

Because leftists like you talk nothing but bullshit. America is decidedly not a better place because of leftism. Obama bin laden sought to "fundamentally" change America and I'd say he did just that. There is more facial division because of him and you really have to be an idiot to not see it.

Change is not a bad thing, Change can be for the better or the worse.

America has fundamentally changed in the past... Do you think Abolishing Slavery was a bad thing? Do you think allowing women to vote was a bad thing?

I finally watched a few interviews. some of the procedural goals are laudable,
especially after McConnels fart of the Omnibus left a stench in the House as well as the Senate.

Bit it's not worth any of it -delaying business, and even constituent services.

Agreed but the problem I have is the obvious unwillingness of leftists to critically examine the changes they have made.

Abolishing slavery was a necessary change but not a fundamental one. The founders knew it had to be dealt with they just kicked that can down the road. As to women voting it's hardly fundamental.

What has fundamentally changed is the idea that in the new millennium America was a "systemically" racist country. Leftists actually got people to buy thet bullshit even though slavery and Jim crow laws (actual systemic racism) had been done away with. Stop the nonsensical bullshit will you please.

Accepting the idea of fundamental racism, or not accepting the idea of fundamental racism has not changed the structure of our Government one inch. This entire fiasco in congress only goes to show the (former) emperor has no clothes: First we see the far-right in open rebellion against formerguy's wishes that they put their support behind McCarthy. Then Lauren Boebert tells formerguy he should tell McCarthy to withdraw from the race. And then last night, on the 10th vote, Gaetz actually formally nominated formerguy to be speaker. During his floor speech, he passionately praised the alleged achievements of formerguy and said that's why he's proud to nominate the guy for Speaker of the House of Representatives.
Then one woman (Boebert) clapped eagerly from the rebel ranks - FOR A FRACTION OF A SECOND, before she realized she was the only one clapping. Then she stopped, and there was dead silence. You could have heard a pin drop in that chamber.
And then there was the vote. Formerguy got exactly 1 vote, from the plastic congressman who nominated him (Gaetz). The eager clapper (Boebert) didn't vote for him. None of the other 20 rebels (the freedom caucus) voted for him. Nobody else in the ENTIRE chamber was willing to entertain the notion of having Mr. formerguy preside over their business. On that, there was overwhelming bipartisan agreement.
