Oof, you keep getting more and more wrong. You just don't know when to stop talking and proving that everything you think about this conversation was prejudged before it began based on stereotypes programmed into you.

If blacks don't like being negatively stereotyped, why do they keep on living down to those negative stereotypes?

All one need do in any first, second or third tier city's TV market, is watch the local news everyday. Typically, it's a daily litany of story after story about shootings and gun violence in some black neighborhood, or some thugs committing violent armed robberies, carjackings, etc, etc, etc.

Ever wonder why nobody wants to live in black neighborhoods, not even black people? It's because it's too dangerous. The first thing good black people who work hard and become successful do, is move out of black neighborhoods.

And then of course, we've got the rap music industry that generates huge profits by perpetuating those stereotypes while brainwashing impressionable young black kids who idolize these thug glorifiers.

It's long past time for blacks to stop blaming everyone else for their own failures and shortcomings.

People are perceived the way they present themselves and blacks are no exception.

Privilege is not about guilt. That is the lie your type has been spreading for years. About privilege, about CRT, about simple recognition that the US was built on racist foundations.

What's funny here is how in a couple of your previous hissy-fit replies to me, you made it a point to tell me that I wasn't saying anything everyone didn't already know.

Well here's a news flash sonny.... CRT as you describe it, isn't telling anyone anything we don't already know.

Who in this day and age doesn't know about slavery? Or Jim Crow? Or MLK? Or the civil rights movement?

Who hasn't had it pounded into their heads their entire lives?

Nobody, that's who.

That moment in American history is an important part of our past and needs to be thoroughly taught in schools... as it has been and continues to be.

Period.

But the more you people keep on hammering and yammering about how the ancient past makes you victims today and then use it to blame blacks' lack of ability and desire to advance their position in modern society... the more sane, reasonable, moderate people of all the other ethnicities are going to either consciously or subconsciously, tune you out, not take you seriously, and continue to apply all those negative stereotypes.

Now, either you're just a dishonest person or you have a guilty conscience. That's your problem. White people do not need to feel guilty about atrocities they did not commit. What they need to do is listen to the people who experience their ongoing consequences and stop telling the rest of us what you white people will and will not allow us to feel.

First he says we don't need to feel guilty, then in the next breath, tells us we need to listen when black people blame their problems on us.

And BTW, what consequences are you talking about?

That black youth lead the field in high school drop out and teen pregnancy rates? That they lead all other ethnicities in absent father households? That black youth dominate the gang culture? That black music often reflects the worst personal values of all others? That much of blacks' problems can be directly traced back to lack of parenting?

Blacks need to get their own house in order.

We can't do it for you and it's not our responsibility.

The Hispanics in Dade county are predominantly Cuban and you are right that they turned out for DeSantis but they are unlike Hispanics you find elsewhere in the country. The vast majority of Hispanics in this country vote democratic and the fact they may identify more closely with whites is meaningless, they obviously identify more closely with democrats

An advantage because of nature and genetics? Utter bullshit.

There is no denying that physical appearance plays a major role in people's perception.

Pretty young white women have a genetic advantage over everybody, including white men when it comes to getting what they want.

Everyone knows that.

It's those in poverty that are the ones without priveledge. Poverty rates are higher for blacks and that is why it is harder for them to succede. The same with Hispanics. No one is saying that someone born in poverty cannot become a successful millionaire, it's just harder.

Anyone who drops out of school, joins gangs, associates with criminals, hangs out doing drugs, etc, etc, etc... no matter what color heir skin is, will find themselves in poverty.

Anyone in America who wants to, can guide their lives into a place in the middle class or higher, depending on how willing they are to work hard for it.

People make their own choices.

Having good parents to guide us when we're young is the most important factor in making the GOOD choices required to succeed.

Stop blaming the poverty of some people on other people who are not forcing it on them.

I would say that it's simply misguided and unnecessary.

It seems to be little more than a glorified excuse for black people's failure to make significant headway in climbing the ladder.

CRT is a VERY bad idea based on bullshit. IMO it can be very damaging to both black and white people, mostly to black people quite frankly. Something so lacking in facts and yet so harmful should be mocked IMO. It needs to be given no validity whatsoever.
