Nope. Condi's first response was what destroyed the OP's argument.![]()
Stop trying to bullshit your way out of it!! She said this which is pretty damn clear enough even for you.
Rice turned to CRT and noted while she was growing up in Birmingham, she experienced the pain of segregation.
"My parents never thought I was going to grow up in a world without prejudice, but they also told me, ‘That’s somebody else's problem, not yours. You're going to overcome it and you are going to be anything you want to be,'" Rice said. "That’s the message that I think we ought to be sending to kids."
What's wrong?
Yes she said that.
The point is that her first response indicates that she doesn't know that CRT was being taught in public school and that she hopes not. Quite simple.
The rest of the interview is about academic discussions and how the kids should be taught history.
He thinks you're a tool and he's right.
Give it a rest ffs!!!
that is what I already said. Yes whites will be the largest minority but they will amount to less than 50% and about half of them are democrats. Now add in the other 50% of the population (the non-whites) and take into consideration that every one of those groups votes overwhelmingly for the democrat.
Why do you have to try to be racist about this. Look white people did not invent slavery it has been around for thousands of years but white people were the first to ban slavery UK in 1833, France 1948, The USA 1865. So in the span of 32 year the major White Countries banned slavery. 300,000 mostly white people died trying to end slavery in the US. Members of my family risk their lives fought to end slavery. So your attempted insults just makes you look racist.Look whitey I don't expect your kind to understand, Going forward as this country diversifies more history will be taught and no laws that whitey passes will stop it![]()
Hispanics are becoming less and less beholden to the Democrats, as evidenced by Dade County, Florida, one of the most Hispanic counties in the nation, having gone so overwhelmingly for DeShameless last November.
And as I pointed out, many Hispanics identify more closely with whites than with blacks.
I would go so far as to say that there is a significant animosity toward blacks by Hispanics.
Why is that a good thing?
The term "white privilege" is a misnomer at best.
One could say that there is an advantage to being white, but that mostly has to do with nature and genetics.
Nothing we consciously ever had or have any control over.
Calling it a "privilege" is just snarkiness that belies the envy and jealousy of those who have failed to step up when given the opportunity.
An attempt to lessen or downplay the determination and industriousness of those to whom they've assigned this so-called "privilege".
Black people who put in the work and effort to succeed in this country have every single privilege anyone else has.
Every negative stereotype the rest of the country has of them, they largely bring upon themselves.
Sorry, but that's just the way it is.
Minorities are not monolithic,....why cant race peddlers ever GET that? One thing for sure,.....THEY WILL.![]()
WE didnt do any of those things to blacks. Those people back then did. Did Hispanic people of today kill anyone at the Alamo? Nope s..sure didnt. Only weirdos and lying virtue signalers feel guilty for shit they didnt do. Should AA's feel guilty for Africans slaying other tribes, enslaving them and selling them to Arabs and Euro's? NOPE.....they didnt do it. Grow up and get real.
So if CRT was taught to you
Who was that republican that separated mothers from their children and put them in cages and later did not even know where they were? that was your fucking hero Trump and that said a lot to the Hispanic.
I did not say monolithic, I said overwhelmingly vote democratic. Biden won 80% of the black vote in 2020 and 69% of Hispanics voted democratic. As those minorities grow while the white vote becomes less it is going to be harder and harder for the republican to win a national election.
