Should Government tell parents...

Community standards regulate the First. The exceptions to the Second are false interpretations.

Nope, in fact, the Second has more regulatory language than the first, which is, as written, absolute.

Nope, the Second has far more false regulatory language than the First.

“... the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.”

What part of this is confusing you?

It's simple ...no children allowed when it is a public event that is sexually explicit taking place in a public venue where liquor is served... I'm not sure how that's violating anyone's rights.

Should government tell parents how to raise their children?

Governor DeSantis is "investigating" the Broward Center for the Performing Arts for allowing a touring performance of drag queens to perform at their venue. The advertisement said, 18 and up, unless accompanied by parents.

Gov. says the equated to "marketing to children."

Do you think the government should tell private Enterprise what type of artistic performances they can put on?

Do you think the government should tell parents what type of art they can expose their children to? If so, who gets to decide?

The government has the right to protect children from parental abuse, neglect, or even incompetence, but not to dictate taste in entertainment.
Voting for DeSantis is the act of a worthless idiot who should be purged.

So X-Rated and NC-17 is not dictating taste in entertainment?

Can u take your 6 year old to s strip joint for entertainment?

Gambling is a form of entertainment...should 12 year old's be running around Casinos with their allowance

There already are over 20,000 exceptions on the books. Take your pick, ain't none of them working.

You were talking about the language of the Amendment itself. The First Amendment should not have different regulations than the Second, if we can regulate the first, we can regulate the second. Right?

This explicit language does not allow for exceptions:

“... the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.”

The only legal exceptions would be by an amended Second...lots of luck with that.

What comes before the "..."? You left that out for a reason?
